| Shalom adopted!
Meet Shalom, the most beautiful, big gorgeous purebred female Lab. She is approx. 2-3 years old and a happy wiggly girl. Shalom is a stunning beautiful dudley female. That means she has yellow fur (in this case strawberry blond fur!) and a liver nose and eyeliner. She is darn pretty and a show stopper. It's hard for people ot pass by Shalom without commenting on her beauty. This girl doesn't pull on the leash, but she can pull on the leash if she wants to get to something. In general she walks right with you. We feel pretty sure she has never been on a leash in her life so she is really doing so well!!! Shalom is very good with all other dogs and especially gentle and good with cats. She pretty much ignores cats. Shalom is a good girl in the car but getting her in is not alawys easy. She clearly had not been in a care much at all excpet maybe to go to the vet in her former life. Once in the car, she is very nice and quiet. Shalom loves food and treats. She takes treats pretty eagerly and is not always as gentle as she should be. This plus the fact that she is a big girl may be a concern for families with little ones. She may knock toddlers down and take treats roughtly thuse hurting a child's little hands. Probably better to place her in a home with kids at least age 6. Shalom came to us with her baby, Cubby 2, a 1 year old dudley purebred male. He is not yet available for adoption. Both dogs came from the Tulare shelter up north and we taken in on their euthanasia day. The puppy is far too attached to his mom and must learn to bond with humans so we have split them aparts for adoption. This allows Shalom to have some freedom which she likes and allows Cubby to bond more with people. When he is not with her, he LOVES people! Shalom is a medium energy Labrador who can also be quite mellow. But she is still a young dog so she will for sure require her daily exercise. She will settle nicely afterward in the house. We think Shalom will do fine as an only dog or with another friendly canine companion and do great with cats. Shalom is spayed, up to date on vaccines and healthy. If you feel this girl is right for you, please be sure you have completed your application and homecheck and then follow up with an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

| Coffee adopted!
Meet Coffee. A stunningly gorgeous purebred English blocky female Labrador. Chocolate in color with a gorgeous head, conformation, and the best temperament around, This beauty is lookin' for love. Will you be the one to win her heart? Beautiful Coffee is a super soft-coated, dark chocolate colored lovely girl, and is only 5 years old. She is submissive, soft-mouthed and very loving. Coffee is a nice sized Bench Bred Lab - she weighs about 72 pounds. Coffee came to us when she was retired from a show and breeding program. So at the young age of 5, we were able to help this girl find a new, loving forever home she so deserves! Coffee is a medium energy girl who loves other dogs and playing with them at times. But also she settles down great on her favorite spot (her doggie bed), and will happily relax for hours. Outside she would enjoy her daily walks and some time with her family just getting love and attention. She does not have any interest in playing fetch, but does enjoy her soft squeaky dog toys. She loves attention and will do best in a home where she isn't the only dog left alone for long hours. This is a companion Lab in every sense of the word. Coffee would be a wonderful choice for a family with children due to her extremely gentle nature and sweet personality. However, she could still knock a toddler down, so only children age 4 and over will be considered. She would also be perfect for grandparents who have children in their lives, due to her gentle happy temperament. Coffee would do wonderfully as your one and only dog if you are around a lot, or with another doggie companion. She enjoys some play time with the mixed breed small dog she is fostered with and as a former show dog, she has been around dogs her whole life. She is really wonderful with all dogs and all cats. Coffee requires daily exercise but a simple walk twice a day would be enough. She will also like dog park if you want or getting together with other dogs would be wonderful for her as well because she so enjoys the social interaction. Coffee travels well in the car, and actually smiles when she is truly happy. She loves to be talked to, to be pet, held and lots of fore head kisses combined with a two handed ear rub. She will wag her tail happily when she knows you are coming to her to give her lots of love and attention! She is an excellent dog to consider for therapy work as she is so gentle and loves people so much. Coffee suffers from some arthritis in her hips and some mild dysplasia. This is not much of a problem as she is a calm dog, not an athlete as as such has the hips she needs without problems. She is currently taking glucosamine and a non steriodal anti inflammatory which works great. She is calm and easy going so honestly this is not really an issue. She walks and trots around with ease! She won't be a running partner, but Coffee is not a runner anyway. She is a mellow girl who will love daily walks with her family. Of course like all Labs, Coffee should be on daily glucosamine supplements, and fish oil would also be great for her joints and coat! Coffee has bee wormed, is up to date on vaccines, spayed, had her teeth cleaned and polished and current on flea control. Shes's a healthy beautiful girl just waiting for you! If you think Coffee is the right girl for you, please be sure to send an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

| Cubby 2 adopted!
Meet Cubby! Cubby is a sweet 10 month old yellow male Lab. Since he is a still a puppy, he has more growing to do. Cubby is currently about 60 pounds, and will likely be more like 80 pounds when he is full grown. Cubby came to us with his mother Shalom who has already been adopted. They somehow ended up in a high-kill shelter in California and we were informed about their sad plight. Immediately we made plans to rescue both Mama and baby. It is clear that Cubby did not have much except his mother in his previous home. When he came to us, he had no idea how to play, he dropped yummy marrow bones out of his mouth, and had no idea what to do with a doggie toy. We are happy to say that Cubby is now happily playing with his foster labbie sister, enjoying a marrow bone in his foster home, and just learning how fun doggie toys can be. Cubby is a goofy, labby boy. He is still getting his feet under him, so he can be a bit clumsy at times. And sometimes he doesn't remember he has grown and he forgets that his is now a big dog. Although we think this makes him all the more entertaining! Cubby does not know how to play fetch, and if you throw a frisbee, he will look at you to go get it yourself. But he does enjoy chasing his foster sister around the yard and playing tug of war with her. We would love for this boy to continue with some fun doggie play dates in his new home, trips to dog park where he can play with other dogs, or even another doggie companion around his size in his new home. Cubby a medium energy boy and is great with all other dogs, although sometimes his goofy nature and forgetting his larger size, he can play a little much with a much smaller dog. Although he would never harm a smaller dog, Cubby's play is likely a better fit for bigger dogs. Cubby is fabulous on leash! He doesn't pull and is content walking right in stride with his person - regardless of the pace. He will walk nicely, or even pick up a jog with you if you desire. Cubby also does well off leash staying right with his person, so he would be a great dog to take hiking or to doggie beach. Mostly Cubby loves attention and affection from his people. He loves to be pet and loved on. Cubby is starting to learn his commands of sit and down. He will do them for treats, although often prefers a pat on the head from his person and positive reinforcement as opposed to the treat - silly boy. Cubby would do great at a doggie obedience class and with continued training from his new family - he is still a puppy of course! Cubby is housebroken, however he hasn't yet learned to inform his person when he needs to go outside. So having a door open for regular access to the yard, or being let out often will be good for this boy. He only had one accident in his foster home. Cubby is your typical labbie boy who wants to be where you are and will follow you from room to room. He wants to sleep in the same room with you and will settle right down on a doggie bed near you. If you prefer him to sleep outside your bedroom, that will require some training (as with most labs) - they want to be with you. Cubby is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and now ready to find his forever home. If you think this is the boy for you, be sure to complete an application and send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Kaiah adopted!
Meet Kaiah, a beautiful purebred female 2 year old Labrador with the most gorgeous luxurious chocolate shiny coat. Kaiah is about 70 lbs and is just a stunningly beautiful Lab. She has no dewclaws, and a happy temperment. This little girl is wonderful with all people, children, and other dogs. She gets along beautifully with all other dogs including the 3 dogs she is fostered with - other female labbies and a lab puppy! Kaiah is a very happy, wiggly, lover girl. She has playful energy, but settles nicely in the house and is housebroken. Kaiah came to us from a very loving home where she had been since she was a puppy. Unfortunately her owner came upon some troubling times and could no longer keep her, and we were happy to rescue this girl. She was a loved dog and well taken care of, but very sad her owner could no longer care for her. We promised to find the best forever home for this lovely girl. Kaiah likes doggie toys and dog bones too in her foster home. She enjoys playing fetch too! She can also be found playing with her foster siblings. She is really the perfect mix of fun & easy! One family will be extremely lucky to adopt this girl. Kaiah can be found sleeping on the bed, as she spent many comfortable nights with her previous owner there, but we are certain she could be trained not to be on the furniture if that's what you desire. She has a true Labby temperament - a wiggly, happy girl who is thrilled to meet & greet everyone! Kaiah has some good training. She knows her commands of sit, comes when called, and responds well to correction. She can be a little jumpy when she's excited - so she's learning to stay on all four paws. Kaiah does tend to pull on leash, so she is best walked on a pinch collar. Kaiah will do best in a home where she will get daily exercise such as walks, hikes, or fun outings like dog park or dog beach! She will do fine with children, but keep in mind she is a wiggler and could easily knock a toddler down, so we would prefer to place her in a home with children over age 5. Kaiah would do great as your one and only girl (provided you are not gone extremely long hours during the week), or she would make a great doggie companion. She is also a great car rider - hopping right in to enjoy the ride. Although she can be found sitting in your passenger seat - curling right up next to you. Kaiah is healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccines and ready for her new forever home. If you think Kaiah is the girl for you, please be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

Boomer 2 puppy adopted!
Meet Boomer 2, the 5 month old purebred Lab puppy who is recovering from surgery and is ready for his new home! Boomer is a little lab puppy of just 5 months. When we found him in a high kill shelter he was suffering from endtropion eyes meaning both eyes had lids and lashes that were turning inward. This is a relatively common defect sometimes found in purebred Labradors and requires surgery to correct it. It is very painful and Boomer had been suffering long enough so we got him out and into surgery the second we were able!!! The good new is that his eyes are fixed and he is healthy!!! Though his looks pretty pathetic in his photos, this little guy is healing great and will have no scars from this surgery. You won't be able to tell anything we ever done!!! The most important thing is that he is feeling so much better and his days of pain are far behin him. Boomer is the best puppy. He is so calm and smart and willing to please. He is already housebroken and learning his commands. He is of course wonderful with other dogs and loves cats - after all he is a puppy! Boomer is looking for a committed puppy forever home. This is a home where someone is around much of the time and where his new family is prepared to provide lots of puppy toys and patience and training! Also at his age, Boomer needs lots of dog park and/or play days with other dogs to continue his socialization. Boomer is great in the house and sticks to his toys. He is already doing great on the leash too. He also loves the car and is a good boy in the car. He's a great choice for families with cats and kids and he would love to be your one and only or have another friendly canine companion. This guy is so beautiful and so perfect that we can only imagine his owners could not afford the surgery for his eyes which is how he ended up at the shelter. He is so perfect in every way. We just want this little man to have the best forever home there is. Boomer is healthy, up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped and his eyelids are surgically repaired and healty without expection of any scarring whatsoever. He must be brought to either our vet in Agora or your approved vet for suture removal. If you feel that this little wonderful Labrador is right for your family and you have been approved to adopt, please send an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

| Adina adopted
Meet Adina! Adina is an adorable purebred yellow female Labrador of just 1 year old. This darling girl is a lovely medium size of 65 pounds so just a great size for a Labrador. She is a light cream color and in great shape. This stunningly handsome pedigreed dog came to us when her owner lost his home and his job and decided it was the best thing for Adina to find her a new home. He loved her very much, but knew the right thing to do was to allow us to find her a fabulous forever home. Adina is great with other dogs. She spent time in her previous home with a small Jack Russell Terrier. She is now fostered with a male chihuahua and has met another female labbie and they all get along well. Adina is still a young girl at only 14 months old. So, she will need her daily exercise, but she is a nice medium energy girl who will do enjoy daily walks, playtime in the yard and even hikes and dog beach adventures too! Adina is pretty good on leash - rarely pulling. When she does pull, she is easily corrected. Her exceptional temperament is what makes Adina so special. She has all the things we look for in a good family dog. She is very easy to train and correct and takes great pride in doing what she is told. What a special companion this girl is - one family will be very lucky to adopt her! Adina is mostly about her people even though she is well socialized with other dogs. She would love to be your one and only and get all the attention in your home. Or, she will do fine with another sweet canine companion. Adina loves affection, and even loves her belly rubs! While she is a good tempered girl, she is still a puppy at only 14 months old, so she will need to be reminded of her manners, not jumping up on people, and more. She is still learning her commands, so a doggie obedience class would be a great idea and a great way to bond with her new family. We do not know how Adina will do with cats, so we will not place her in a home with them. Adina is up to date on vaccines and spayed. If you think Adina is the girl for you, be sure to complete an application and send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

Isabella adopted!
Meet Isabella, a darling 10-11 month old purebred Lab puppy! Isabella is an adorable Dudley yellow Labrador - meaning she is a beautiful yellow color with a liver nose and eyeliner. She is darn cute and has the sweetest most loving personality to boot. She is just about 70 lbs now but she is still growing and should fill out to about 80 lbs at full size. We learned of Isabella when animal control picked her up on the street and brought her into the shelter. A volunteer noticed her straight away and informed us that a "Silver" Lab had arrived who was no more than a baby and had already had a litter of puppies. Needless to say we got her right out and sure enough she is a baby and had recently had a litter of pups - a result of her very first puppy heat. The funny thing though is that she is not "Silver" she is yellow. She had been living under a truck for so long that her fur was stained grey. It took 3 full serious baths to find out she was a yellow Labrador. Very, very sad. Isabella is a doll baby. She is a medium energy puppy (though all puppies have a LOT of energy!) and she loves life. She had been neglected but not abused and so she really loves people. Isabella had learned hot to sit, shake, lay down, and come in her short time in foster. We are working on leash skills as she clearly has never been on a leash. She pulls hard and is doing better on a no pull harness but we actually think a pinch prong collar or a gentle leader might be better. Isabella settles nicely in the house after she had had exercise. She still jumps up so she is learning that is not ok. This is typical puppy behavior and she will need to learn! Her new owners may want to do a nice obedience class with her. Isabella is an independent dog. She is not a velcro dog. She loves affection and snuggling but if she is tired or wants to settle, she prefers to go off and lay down. This is idea for someone who wants a loving puppy but who does not like a dog to be underfoot constantly and on them all the time. Isabella has checked out with excellent health. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, current on flea control and wormed. She will do her best in a home where someone is committed to a young dog and willing to do what is needed for a puppy meaning lots of exercise, training, and attention. She is housebroken and sleeeping though the night on her dog bed. But her new owner should consider a crate for her to keep her safely confined while out for short periods since she is a puppy. She will do best with someone around much of the time. Or if her new owners are at work, she will do fine with another friendly canine companion and a dog walker checking in during the day. Since she is a puppy, she will not do well left alone with run of the house all day while owners are at work. She is just still too young for that. She may do well with older children as she is a sweet girl, but she is large with lots of energy and still jumps so there is no doubt she will knock toddlers and small children over. Isabella is not cat tested and so we cannot place her in homes with cats. This gorgeous dog has outstanding temperament and personality. She will make someone a great dog with the right investment of time and training. If you feel Isabella is right for you, please be sure you have completed your application and homecheck and then follow up with an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

Lucy 3 adopted!
Meet Lucy 3, a purebred gorgeous, 5 year old, female Lab who is just about perfect in every way! Lucy 3 is a lovely girl. She is the perfect age at 5 and has the most outstanding temperament. She is a beautiful shiny jet black with a pretty face and a darling Labby smile. Lucy is wonderful with all dogs and all people. She is amazing even with little kids and toddlers and is a gentle sweet girl. She loves to be pet and be close to her person and is a true family dog. Lucy is playful and has plenty of nice energy too. She enjoys playing with the little Jack Russell Chi mix she is fostered with. She will enjoy living with another friendly canine companion or she would do just fine as an only dog with all the attention. Lucy came to us becuase not long ago her owner passed away. Lucy has been living with her owners son and his family, but they do not have a yard, or time to really take care of Lucy even though they loved her very much. Her owner's son wanted Lucy to have the best home she so deserved and so they he was willing to let her come into rescue in the hopes she could find just that. Lucy is medium energy girl who has perfect house manners. She knows her commands and is housebroken and non-destructive. She is a calm girl who settles nicely and she walks beautifully on the leash. She does not pull and she walks right next to you. This is a very sweet girl who is gentle and well behaved. She will do beautifully with almost any family - even toddlers or elderly people and could even be a therapy dog. This gorgeous girl is spayed, up to date on vaccines and really for her new forever how where she can be treasured and appreciated for her true charm and sweetness. Dolly 2 adopted!
Meet Dolly2, a darling little 16 week old chocolate Lab puppy! Though she looks black in her photos she is actually a deep dark chocolate and is the sweetestly little girl. Dolly is just 4 months and about 25 lbs. She's a little dolly!!! She is a slight mix though we can't put our finger on what! She is VERY labby looking! Maybe there is so Visla in there? At any rate, this little Labby gal is sweet, happy and honestly about the nicest puppy we've had. Dolly is very calm for a puppy. She settles nicely in the house, is a good girl in her crate and loves everyone - cats, dogs, and ESPECIALLY little kids. Dolly is not a mouthy puppy which is rare for Labs so she may do find with little children. Dolly loves her toys and loves to chew. She loves the bully sticks and kongs and like to carry the soft toys around in her mouth in true Labrador fashion. She likes to play but can get a little shy around the big dogs. She LOVES dog park and has made quite a few puppy friends. Dolly is wonderful on the leash. She is really learning. She is just a baby and has just had her vaccinations so she had not been in the outside world much but she is taking to it beautifully. She likes the car too and is a pretty good rider. Dolly is a very smart puppy who very much wants to please and learn. She looks right to you for everything and wants to make you happy. A nice puppy class would suit her very well and we think she will be the smartest one in the class. Dolly is being housebroken but of course since she is a baby she will need to be monitored. Puppys still have growing bladders and often don't know that they have to go potty until it is too late. Lots of trips outside and praising will continue her sucess. Dolly will do beautifully with another friendly canine companion or two. She loves other dogs. She is a submissive puppy and is not irritating so we think most dogs would readily accept this little one. She is fostered currently in a home with four other Labradors and they all seem to like Dolly quite a bit. Dolly needs a forever home where someone is around much of the time for the next 2 months at least (until she is 6 months of age). She is too young to be left alone on her own, even with another dog. Dolly is such a treasure. This little girl is everything we look for temperament wise. She will make a wonderful family companion. We ask families to realize how important patience and commitment are when adopting a puppy. Puppies take training and homes must be puppy proofed to keep puppy safe and your valuables intact. Childrens toys must be put away, as should remotes, cell phones, sunglasses, etc. Wires must be away from puppies and puppies requires TONS of bully sticks, kongs, puppy toys to keep them busy. Puppies must have a crate to keep them safe at night or when you step out. There will be a spay deposit required on Dolly which will be refunded once she is spayed after 6 months of age. If you feel this little darling wiggle worm is right for you, and if you are homechecked and approved, please email her foster mom at donna@indilabrescue.org

Royce adopted!
Meet Royce. Royce is a darling purebred black male Labrador who is looking for a new home. Will it be yours? Now does this handsome boy look like he needs to be euthanized? Of course not! And we didn't think so either! But becuase this gentle and perfect Lab showed up at the shelter as a large breed dog who is black and who is a little bit older, his chance for adoption were limited the second he came in the door. Luckily the shelter LOVED this guy so much they did all they could to bring him to us. And here he is - Mr. Perfection himself, Royce the perfect loving purebred Lab just ready to make your life complete. e This shiney healthy boy is 9 years young. He is calm and gentle and is pure joy to have in his foster home. Royce really has it all - he is loving, obedience, non-destructive, loving with all other dogs and just a perfect home companion. He can go with toddlers, children, and even older folks becuase he is so gentle and unflappable. And yes he is 9. So what? He's very healthy and has few amazing perfect years of love to give without all the drama of Labby youth and destructiveness. This guy can come home and fit right in as if he has been there forever. Royce loves being part of a family. He's a happy wiggler who loves playing with his foster siblings: a male cocker and a female Lab. He's also a big cuddler who honestly would love to lay right in your lap if you would let him. Royce is a LOT of fun to have around and he puts everyone in a good mood. He may be a senior but he has plenty of spunk and wiggliness and he really gets into your heart. Royce is a very healthy boy. His's biggest health concerns are that at times he seems a little hard of hearing, and he also has times when he can be a little stiff from some minor arthritis. In general this guy can do dog park, dog beach, and 2 nice walks a day. And if he is feeling stiff, an aspirin will do the trick. Royce is a special boy that his foster mom and dad say they would love to keep if they didn't already have 2 dogs and foster dogs to save lives. He is just that nice to have around. Royce is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. If you feel you can open your heart to this perfect gentlman cuddler and you have been approved to adopt with your homecheck, please shoot an an email to judithcoursonburton@gmail.com

Truffles adopted!
Meet Truffles! Truffles is a 6 year old purebred English or Bench Bred female Labrador. This girl is a gorgeous chocolate color with a block head and she is perfectly bred. Truffles weighs 75 pounds and is at her ideal weight. They don't come more good looking than this beautiful, show quality girl! Not only is Truffles as gorgeous as they come, but she has the best temperment ever! She loves all people and all other dogs! She is as easy going as they come! Truffles came to us after retiring her career as a show and breeding dog. So, at the age of 6, we were lucky enough to rescue this girl and find her a new wonderful home. Truffles spent most of her previous years in a concrete kennel on a breeders property. So she is now learning how wonderful living in a home with a family can be! Truffles is a sweet and mellow girl who is perfect in the house. She needs a nice walk every day but settles in beautifully and is housebroken and non destructive. She is a good girl on the leash rarely pulling, so really a joy to walk, no training collar needed! Truffles is a low to medium energy girl... she's a great couch potato, but can also enjoy a little play time in the yard or a nice walk. Truffles enjoys gently chewing on her doggie toys, but has very little interest in dog bones or playing fetch. But Truffles' favorite thing is her belly rubs! Anytime you are near her, she would love you to just stop and pet her! Truffles is great with all other dogs both small and large. She is fostered with a 2 year old female lab and they get along great together. She has also met other dogs on walks & does well with all of them. She is becoming a little more playful every day. Truffles would do well in a home where she is your one and only, or with another doggie companion. She is not a playful girl with other dogs, so likely would not play with another dog, but would enjoy their companionship. Truffles would be great with kids though she is a big wiggler, so would do best with kids over age 5. But mostly she is a big teddy bear. She is a true love bug, who loves attention and love from everyone and will sit up close to you for more pets, or roll over on her back for her favorite belly rubs! Truffles is good in the car - just sitting or laying down and enjoying the ride. She also does well running errands, just hanging out in the car while you run into the store. She's a very nice travel partner. Truffles deserves the best in her new home...as she is just now experiencing what a wonderful life she can have living in a home with a family - being spoiled in all the good ways! We don't know how Truffles will do with kitties, so we will not look to place her in a home with cats at this time. Truffles is healthy, spayed, and up to date on shots. If you think this mellow girl would be the right fit for you, please send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

Meet Jake 3, a wonderful loving purebred Labrador with the gentlest and kindest heart we have known. Jake is a darling yellow male dudley with the liver nose and pale yellow coat. He is a very special boy. Jake is 9 years young and as calm and loving as they come. This gorgeous Labrador loves all people and more than anything loves being part of a family. Jake is so gentle and so sweet. He steals everyone's heart who meets him. Jake came to us when a wondeful woman found him at the Camarillo shelter with a giant tumor on his toe. He was slated for euthanasia. His rescue angel could not bear it and contacted us. Needless to say we took Jake in and in short order many volunteers and friends had rallied around this dear soul. Jake had a very successful surgery and is completely recovered. He is healthy, and happy and simply looking for the best home love can buy. Jake has to have his toe removed when the tumor was taken. But it does not affect him in any way. He loves his walks and retriveing the ball over and over in true Labby fashion. We feel so blessed that Jake is so well and so healthy. Jake loves his walks so much. He is pure joy on the leash and wonderful passing all other dogs. He loves to ride in the car too. And of coures he loves the ball. One of Jakes most important activities is belly rubbing - HIS not yours please! He loves his belly rubs and he loves to be near his people. Jake has been through so much but remains truly grateful and resiliant. He is honestly the happiest dog around. Jake is amazing with all other dogs and gets along with everyone. He is a calm well-behaved boy. Jake does not jump on furniture. he loves his own bed and wants to sleep in your room just to be close. Jake would do best with a family that is not gone for long hours during the someone who can walk him daily and give this big guy all the love and attention he deserves. Jake is healthy, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. If you feel this boy is right for you family, and you have completed an application to adopt, please follow up with an emal to weber4@sbcglobal.net

| Rambo adopted!
Meet Rambo, the most handsome purebred AKC male Labrador! Rambo is a jet black shiney gorgeous boy of 4 year and just about 75 lbs.
Rambo is an outstanding dog. He came to us when his family lost their home and fell on bad times. Rambo was purchased by the family from a breeder at 8 weeks. He was raised with cats and toddlers and is amazing with both. Rambo is a medium energy typical 4 year old Labrador. He needs his daily exercise and loves his walks. He is a great candidate for dog beach and dog park. He would love to hike with you and just be your best buddy. Rambo settles down beautifully in the house and is a good boy in his crate. Rambo is good with all other dogs, all cats and children. He is a great family dog. But he's also still a young happy boy and not a couch potato. Rambo is very good in the car and settles down great. He stays in the back and rides patiently while you drive. He is housebroken, non-destructive and crate trained. He will do great with another friendly canine companion - preferable female - or he will be a great only dog. Rambo is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. If you feel this beautiful boy is right for you, and you have have you home check and been approved to adopt, follow up with an email to scartersoo@mac.com

| Dempsey adopted!
Meet Dempsey! A chocolate male Lab of about 5 years old. He has a lovely dark brown coat, a perfect blocky head and is in great shape, weighing about 100 pounds of pure chocolate love.
Dempsey is such an amazing labby boy. He's sweet, submissive, eager to please, loyal, and gentle. He can also be energetic and lively which makes him the perfect mix of easy doggie and fun playmate.
He loves to be loved and played with. He's simply gorgeous with his blocky head and athletic body. And, to top things off, we have never seen a more happy tail wag! He just loves being happy and seems so grateful to be out of the shelter. His joy is contagious. Seriously, what more could you ask for in a lab? He gets along great with his foster labbie brother and sister. And, one thing is for certain, he would make an excellent companion for someone who wants a dog willing to stay by their side (without being demanding or annoying) and will lavish nothing but love on them.
When his foster mom isn't too busy, Dempsey is quite content forgetting that his foster Labby sister is there, and will follow his foster mom around like a puppy without getting in her way or being demanding. He's a dog that will lay at your feet or cuddle up with you at ease.
He is definitely still a young boy, and would do best in a home where he could get a good amount of exercise. He likes playing tug of war with his foster sister, and is getting used to chewing on a bone or playing with a squeaky toy! He's learning to not pull on the leash so much, but he is very strong and could benefit from a gentle leader or another training collar. He walks very well on leash most of the time, but if he sees a teasing squirrel, he will pull on the leash.
Dempsey is housebroken, and settles well in the house after his exercise. He also does extremely well in a crate. But he loves his crate and willingly goes in & and lays right down to rest! What a good boy! Dempsey knows his commands of sit, down and shake! He takes treats gently - although sometimes after doing the command, doesn't want a treat at all - silly boy. Dempsey is great with other dogs. He will make a great dog as your one and only - or with another canine companion. If he is your one and only, you shouldn't be gone really long hours. He would of course love the company of other dogs and would do great left alone for long hours if he's with another dog. We don't know how Dempsey will do around kitties though, so we will not place him in a home with cats at this time.
He's not jumpy, but can be a bit mouthy when he plays, so children over 6 would be best for Dempsey Dempsey is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and now ready for his new forever home! If you think Dempsey is the right boy for you, be sure to send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Henry 3 adopted!
Meet Henry, The Sweetest Luckiest Boy Around! Henry is a super handsome 2 year old yellow male with some cinnamon fox red streaking, who had a very sad beginning and a very happy ending! Like most of our rescues, the day Henry came to Indi Lab Rescue was the best day of his life...and it's getting better too. Henry was a darling, shy, submissive stray, brought to a North County Shelter with a cloudy eye. It was obvious that his people did not do right by him, yet his calm demeanor and absolutely perfect temperament reigned supreme. Our brilliant vet thinks he had some trauma to his eye that was left untreated long enough to present as secondary glaucoma. His other eye is fine, and we'd like Henry to have a home committed to an inexpensive pressure test a few times a year to make sure it stays that way. Our vet recommended a shot to interrupt the abnormal pressure buildup so he could keep his eye, even though he doesn't see out of it. Henry is a little head shy, but we think in time, as he no longer feels the eye pressure, this bad dream will be just another yucky part of his past, that has been replaced by all the joy he now enjoys! O' Henry! He is sweet like the Candy Bar, likes to please, follow his person around, and be spoken to softly. A calm Zen like, yet active household where another young and friendly canine companion resides would be just perfect. Henry is a friend to all dogs, big and small. He loves sniffing everything, and loves the occasional game of tug with a friend he has gotten to know. When Henry is mounted by another male he just stands there waiting for his person to call off the more dominant dog. He was fostered with Lulah, a 3 yo chocolate female lab he adored. He is mellow with senior dogs too. Henry is too interested in kitties to be placed with cats..so NO cat for Henry. He was mesmerized by swimming pools but isn't a great swimmer, so a home with a grassy yard and no pool or fenced pool is just what he is dreaming about! Henry went to a second cat less foster with no pool and has transitioned so nicely that we know he will love coming home and bonding with you too! Henry learns what you want from him with a ChCh sound or a loud EH EH. The word NO for counter surfing was too strong for this sensitive creature, and we'd not like to give him any treatment that resembles his former neglectful memories. So if you are not in the habit of yelling or needing to use the NO word... Henry will slide right into your mellow and loving heart! Sometimes the souls that kept their good cheer during the darkest storms are the ones who just long to keep your secrets safe, sleep on the bed of a teen, nap in dad's chair, and bring you a lifetime of smiles with their gentle gratefulness. Walks, Hikes, Car Rides, Fetch and Tug, and Lots of snuggling is just what we'd love to give this boy. Along with another friendly young doggy sibling without long periods of being left alone is on our wish list. In return, you will have the most handsome, loyal, and kissable deserving labby! He is housetrained, non destructive, a fast learner, up to date on vaccines and neutered. After you fill out your application and are approved with a home check, please drop your name and a note of deep interest on Henry's Dance Card being held by his foster mom Jan. | Journey adopted!
Meet Journey! A handsome, AKC-registered purebred male yellow Labrador of just 5 years. This is the perfect loving family dog.
Journey is a lovely boy, who is on the mellow side, but a tad overweight so he'll need a good walk each day to get some of the weight off. He is a good walking companion with a pinch collar or gentle leader so this will be great fun for his new owner and for Journey.
He appears to be afraid of cats though he will do fine with them in a home once he is used to them.
A typical lab, Journey will do anything for a treat. He is learning to walk on leash better each day, but for now still needs a pinch collar if the walk is to be enjoyable for the walker! He spent his life with 3 other dogs on acreage running about chasing rabbits and enjoying life so this new urban leash thing is strange to him though he certainly enjoys it!
Journey was one of four dogs turned in to Indi by his former owner. He was tremendously attached to his mother, Coco 3 who has since been adopted. Ind Lab also took in Journey's littermate who was adopted and his father Dagwood who has also been adopted. Becuase he has always been with other dogs we will only consider placing him in a home with another dog for company, or someone stay at home for him.
Journey is not a dominant dog. He is sweet as sugar and loves his pats. He gets along well with his foster's very dominant female, and loves to chase the ball, although he lets her get it first because he knows she will be stern about it. He's good at sharing and enjoys her company.
With Journey's energy level and calmness, he would make a great family dog. He settles beautiful in the house after his exercise. Jorney does not like being left outside in the yard alone though. He prefers to be with his people like all other Labs. And like most labs he will bark to come inside with you. He just wants to lay by your feet and be part of his family.
Journey is neutered, up to date on vaccines and comes with his AKC papers.
If you feel this gorgeous boy is right for you and you have been approved to adopt, please send an email to scartersoo@mac.com

| Ceasar adopted!
Meet Ceasar, a beautiful 1 year old male purebred Labrador Retriever. This mild and gentle 1 year old old is a very special and sweet boy. The children in Ceasar's foster home have taken to calling him "Bandit" due to the beautiful black eyeliner around his eyes. But the only thing this guy will steal is your heart. Ceasar the Bandit is a great big lovable lab of around 1 year old with the biggest floppiest ears you will ever see. He is a charmer and loyal companion that will stay by your side throughout your entire day. Ceasar came to us from a small sanctuary rescue who lost thier home and lease and they asked is we could take him in. When he arrived at his foster home he was painfully underweight. He has a great appetite and his foster family has been working on putting some well deserved weight back on him. He has a large frame with paws like boxing gloves and should way closer to 90 pounds. Ceasar is wonderful with all dogs and all people. He is wonderful which children and would make a nice companion for a family. He is already neutered and up to date on all shots. He quickly mastered housebreaking and is a great walking partner on a leash. He enjoys family life and prefers to be in the center of things. Ceasar gets along wonderfully with his foster sister a soft-coated wheaten terrier and loves his walks with her on a double leash. He rarely barks and for a young lab he is subdued. He will be a great addition for any family looking for a big lovable dog to cherish and provide a permanent home. Ceasar is a truly wonderful and sweet boy. He has a nice calm temperament and a wonderful personality. This healthy boy is neutered, up to date on vaccines and ready for a forever home.Ceasar is fostered in Anaheim (Orange County) If you feel Ceasar is right for you, please be sure you have had your home visit and been approved and then follow up with an email to ridgeclan@gmail.com

| Chunky adopted!
Meet Chunky the purebred white-yellow male Puppy. This big puppy is just about 1 year if that and is a big, dopey, darling purebred boy with oodles of energy and tons of wiggles.
Chunky is an acitve puppy and is just at that age where he is still a baby but had grown to a full sized Labby. He is a good sized beauty at 85 lbs. and has some wonderful qualities.
Chunky loves people and loves to cuddle. He needs to learn that he is no longer a lap dog at his size and that he can't quite behave like a little puppy any longer. He is just at the age where it is the perfect time to start training. He loves to play and can play pretty hard with other dogs since he is still a youngster. And becuase he is a youngster, he will need lots of walks, ball throwing, dog park, swims at the beach and the like. And he will certainly need his training.
Chunky does pull on the leash but does very well with a pinch collar. He loves to go on his walks and does try to please. He is not a marker and still squats like a puppy to do his pee pee.
Chunky will do best in a home where someone is totally ready for a very large, active young puppy who needs training. He will do best where he will get lots of exercise each and every day and where he will not be left alone all day at his age. He would love another playful friendly canine companion that will enjoy playing with him.
Chunky seems ok with cats and has ignored the two cats he has met. That said we don't quite trust him and think he probably will chase a cat. We prefer not to place him with cats but if you have a very dog savvy kitty, we may consider it so long as you understand that it may be a challenge.
Chunky is a extremely beautiful, well-bred Labradror. He sits on command and is learning his other commands and he is very, very treat motivated. He only wants to please.
Chunky will be an a treasure of a dog for someone willing to put the work in that a young large Labrador requires.
He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you fell this beauty is right for you and you can commit to a young active Lab, please send an email to donna@dishgirl.com

| Buddy 4 adopted!
Meet Buddy Buddy is a sweet, yellow male Labrador of 3 years old! This boy is a nice size at 65 pounds. He is a little underweight, but with an additional 5-10 pounds on him, he will fill out perfectly! This boy is as sweet as they come! He wants nothing more than to sit in front of you and get lots of affection. He will stand, sit lay down next to you with a smile on his face all day long if you pet him. He will be happy with any family that will give him lots and lots of pets. Buddy is a calm boy with a lovely temperment. Buddy was rescued from an owner recently where he was around many other dogs. Hence, Buddy is great with all other dogs both big and small. We would like Buddy to go to a home with another doggie companion. Preferably another medium to mellow energy dog. A hyper/active doggie companion might be too much for this calm tempered boy. Buddy is fostered with a small female Basenji and the two are getting along great. Booboo is also mellow and calm in the house and settles really well. He mostly enjoys his people and all the attention he gets from his foster family. Buddy would do well with children as he is very gentle. He takes treats gently and is not mouthy at all. However, he would probably do best in a home with quieter well behaved children. He is a timid boy who might be overwhelmed by a lot of children running around in the home.
Buddy has not had any accidents in his foster home, so he appears to be housebroken. He is non-destructive and would do great left alone during the day as long as he has a doggie companion in his home. He has spent the last 2 years of his life outside, so he is very comfortable in your yard during the day - provided there is shade and water.
Buddy is still timid of some new things like tile floors, noises, and the TV. He is learning quickly that he doesn't need to fear any of those things. In fact, his foster family is giving him treats in front of the TV so he learns to associate it with great things. His favorite treat is cheese! Buddy needs a family that will not baby him but will expose him to all the fun things he simply has never experienced. Buddy is neutered, up to date on vaccines and current on flea control. If you think this darling little boy is the right dog for you, be sure to send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Dagwood adopted!
Meet Dagwood! This boy is a handsome purebred AKC black male Labrador of 6 years. This boy is a really well bred purebred lab with perfect temperament, and he comes with AKC papers to boot!
Dagwood is of perfect size for a male Labrador at 70 lbs. Often now days, we see Labs much, much bigger, but this boy is right where he should be for the breed standard and is such a perfect size. He also has a gorgeous head and sweet expression.
Dagwood came to us when his family got divorced and they were forced to give up their dogs. Dagwood came from a home with 3 other dogs. He is a calm and loving boy. He has just the best easy going personality and takes just about everything in stride. He loves to be with his person and enjoys the company of other dogs too.
Dagwood is very good with all other dogs. He's not a crazy playful guy but he enjoys their company a lot.
Dagwood will do fine in a home with another friendly canine companion - especially if he is to be alone all day. He is not used to being totally alone for long hours so a friend would be nice if you work all day. He's not really a dog to leave in the back yard all day by himself while you are at work. He would be fine as an only dog as long as his family is around a lot.
This boy is really a best friend. He wants to be part of a family and close to his people. He is a very calm boy inside the house and outside. He walks great on leash, and enjoys his walks. He really only requires a couple walks a day, so he is a pretty low maintenance boy! Dagwood is fostered with 2 other Labs and is doing great them. He is enjoying his foster home very much and settling in beautifully.
Dagwood knows his command of sit, but could us a refresher on his other commands. He can be found counter surfing for some extra food, although his foster family is quickly correcting him of this behavior. He corrects really well, and does not need a firm hand. Just a calm "no" will work for this sweet boy. Dagwood is a good choice for a family with kids. He is fostered with 2 teenage children who adore him. He loves cuddling up with them! He is a gentle and calm boy so is a good choice for families with children.
Dagwood is healthy, up to date on vaccines, and neutered and will come with his AKC papers!
If you feel Dagwood is right for your family, please complete an application and shoot an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Frankie adopted!
Meet Frankie, an amazing purebred AKC registered Silver Labrador Retriever female. This girl is fully trained with all her commands, perfect on leash and great with toddlers. This doll baby is as close to perfect as you can get. She is calm and mellow indoors, loves to play outside, does great with other dogs, and of course loves all people. Frankie JUST turned 5 years old in January and she is at that PERFEECT lab age when they are playful, fun and active, but have all their training, are well behaved and super calm in the car, your house, and other peoples houses. Frankie is a very special dog with superior temperament. She is a happy girl and loves attention from her people. Unfortunately Frankie's family recently lost their home and they could no longer keep her. They loved her dearly and took great care of her, they were very sad to let her go, but knew it was best to have Frankie find a new forever home. his beauty is a silver Lab which is really one of the colors in the chocolate family. If you would like to learn more about Silver Labs you can visit this site: http://www.silverlabradorinfo.comSilver Labs are not very common and do go for top dollar. To us however, Frankie is really just perfection no matter that she is the highly esteemed silver variety or not. She is a beautiful girl with an amazing colored coat and soft amber eyes. She is a real show stopper looks wise, but honestly it is her temperament that is the true winner. The just do not come an better than this girl. Frankie is a medium energy girl who settles beautifully in the house. She is a great dog to have with children and is a perfect family companion. She can be a little mouthy and a little jumpy when she is excited, but she grew up in a family with very small children and did very well. Frankie will do best with a family that likes a velcro dog who loves to be by your side, and also a family that will take her out to do a lot of fun things. She will do great as your one and only dog, or with another doggie companion. Frankie enjoys the company of other mellow dogs. She can be found playing with her foster brother - a 6 year old male Golden / Chow mix. Frankie plays in a gentle way though, so as soon as she feels her play companion is getting a little rough, she will bow out of the play. Frankie is your typical happy, wiggly labbie girl. She is approximately 60 pounds, so she is a nice size for a Lab. Frankie knows her basic commands, is fabulous on and off leash, and settles beautifully in the house! Frankie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Frankies adoption fee is $400 due to her specialness and training If you think Frankie is the girl for you, please send an email to IndiLabGirl@gmail.com

| Coco 3 adopted!
Meet Coco 3, the adorable purebred chocolate teddy bear girl. Coco is a gorgeous AKC registered Labrador and she is pure sweetness. Her dew claws have been removed. Coco will come to her new family with her AKC papers. Coco is just a little chubby right now and needs to loose about 10 lbs. She is about 65 lbs and should be closer to 55 lbs. That said she is in perfect Labby health and loves her walks and hikes so losing the weight will be extremely easy for Coco. Until then, there is just more Coco to love. She is just around 6 years old and is the perfect Lab age of a trained, calm and well behaved dog mixed with a fun dog you can hike with take to dog park or to the beach. Coco loves to retrieve a ball and will do it over an over if you want to throw it. When you put it away she doesn't bother you aobut it any more and is just happy and calm. And as mentioned, she loves hikes and walks. She is amazing off leash and will stay right with you. She also comes when called so she is a fabulous hiking partner. And since she's a tad chunky, that extra Coco will just drop right off. She is a sound, healthy girl and currently is enjoying her daily walks with the other dogs she is fostered with. Coco is great with other dogs and is even good with cats although she can get scared of the cats too. Especially if they hiss at her. She would love to be with a playful friendly canine companion as she does like to play with other dogs. Coco will do wonderfully with children as well. She is not mouthy and loves attention so kids would probably like being with Coco. She is the kind of dog little girls especially would love as she would for sure enjoy tea parties, dressing up, and being brushed. She loves attention!!! Coco comes to us from a family no longer able to care for her. She was the mate to our other Lab Dagwood though the two are not bonded and do very well separated from each other. Both are now in separate foster homes and are doing great. Coco is a very happy wiggly girl and she is also what we call a velco dog. She wants to be right where you are all the time. She loves being part of the family Coco rides beautifully in the car. In the car she is quiet and happy and loves riding with the other dogs. She knows when she goes in the car it means going somewhere fun. Coco is a medium energy dog who will do her best after getting her daily exercise. She is not a couch potato though she for sure settles beautifully in the house. She is totally housebroken and uses the doggy door to let herself in and out. Coco is not a barker, digger or chewer and is not destrucitve. If you give her bully sticks, or marrow bones she LOVES them. Coco is up to date on vaccines and spayed. She is groomed and current on flea and tick protection. If you feel Coco is right for you, please be sure you have been homechecked and approved and then follow up with an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

| Macks adopted!
Meet Macks! Macks is a very, very handsome 2-3 year old male purebred Lab. He is extremely shiny and adorable. Just look at that Labby noggin!
Macks is a young, playful wiggler. Originally the shelter had listed Macks as agout 4 years. Of course the moment we met him we could tell he was younger and so could our vet. He's truly a happy guy who loves all people and all other dogs.
Macks came to us from on of the most high kill shelters in all of Los Angeles County proper. And black dogs - ever purebred Labs - are often euthanized simply becuase it's not easy to see them as you walk through the shelter. Dark kennels make that difficult and many are just passed over. Macks is a lucky boy and we feel lucky too as he is truly a perfect example of a nicely bred, sweet Labrador.
Macks is a big boy at 90 lbs and loves to wiggle. He's a truly happy boy that will make a wonderful best friend. And he's even good with cats though he sometimes needs a swat on the nose to be reminded that kitty is always boss!
Macks will be a great family dog but he will not work out with toddlers or kids under 8. He is a jumper. He can learn pretty quickly not to jump but until then he is for sure going to knock kids down. He only wants to please so training him will be a peice of cake. He also is a little mouthy. He likes to put his mouth on you though he never applies pressure. Typical Labrador behavior but best to avoid little ones.
Mack is truly a wonderful Lab who has every quality we adore about our breed.
He is healthy, up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.
If you feel this young beautiful boy is right for you, and if you have already been approved to adopt, please follow up with an email to scartersoo@mac.com

| Boo Boo adopted!
Meet Booboo! Booboo is the cutest little petite black male Labrador in the whole world! This smaller perfect purebred is only about 55 lbs and is as sweet as sugar!
Booboo is about 3 years of age. He is a gorgeous boy with a perfect shiny black coat and a darling face! He is a little underweight right now, but with another 5 pounds on him he will fill out beautifully. Booboo also has a lovely temperment! He is a little shy at first, but warms up well to people & loves to be pet and loved more than anything!
Booboo was rescued from an owner recently where he was around many other dogs. Hence, Booboo is great with all other dogs both big and small. His is a playful boy who will love to have some playtime with other dogs - either with a doggie companion in his new home or at the dog park. Because Booboo lived with other dogs for the last 2 years, we would like for him to have a doggie companion in his new home. Booboo is still a young boy, so he does have some playful energy and would be a great dog for dog park, dog beach or the like. Yet Booboo is also mellow and calm in the house and settles really well. He really enjoys his foster doggie brother and they get along great.
Booboo has not had any accidents in his foster home, so he appears to be housebroken. He is non-destructive and would do great left alone during the day as long as he has a doggie companion in his home.
Booboo is a little timid of some new things like tile floors and some noises. He is learning quickly that he doesn't need to fear any of those things. A family that will not baby him but show him all the fun things he never experienced before will be best for him. Booboo is neutered, up to date on vaccines and current on flea control. If you think this darling little boy is the right dog for you, be sure to send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Jack Black adopted!
Jack was born on July 10, 2010. So he is almost a year and a half. He is a big boy and going to get bigger. He is an owner relinquishment. The past owner had an 11 year old lab and with the age difference it was not a match. When we first got him he was a good 10-15 lbs. under weight. He has gained about 5 lbs and is starting to fill out nicely. He's probably at around 77-80 lbs. now and he will bulk up as he is now getting fed twice a day. He is very lean and muscular. He is a strong dog and plays hard. He is neutered, chipped and up to date on all of his shots. Ready for his forever home. He's good with other dogs and children. Not sure about cats. He is currently living with a family that has a 4 year old son and a 5 year old golden retriever. Jack plays wonderfully with both child and dog, however, we would prefer he goes to a family with older children. Jack has a bad habit of bolting out of any open door. So his new owner will need to do some boundary training first and foremost. Jack will need a strong, loving hand to teach him not to bolt out of open doors. His former owner left him outside most of the time and when they did let him come indoors they would put his collar on him and tie him to a stationery spot, so Jack doesn't like collars. There was a simple solution, keep his collar on all the time!!! At first, he didn't want to come into the house because he thought he'd be tied down. After just a few weeks with the foster family, a doggy door and his very own doggy bed, his anxiety has been lifted. So he may need some TLC when it comes to getting his collar on. Santa got Jack a doggy bed and lots of toys that will go with him to his forever home. For a dog his size, Jack is a gentle giant. He wiggles and kisses in that familiar lab way. He'll even roll down onto his back for a belly rub. He is not a crazy jumper, but sneaks one in here and there. He will need at least two walks a day and plenty of ball tossing in between. He is full of energy. Remember that a tired dog is a happy dog. His foster has already seen improvement in him during walks. He gets the 'no pull'. He is very eager to please, sits on command and don't be surprised if he becomes your shadow. He is known to sit so close to you that he's actually sitting on your foot. If you want a big goof ball to cuddle with and complete your family, Jack is your boy. But remember that he will bolt out of any open door, including a garage door, so be prepared to give him the time and dedication he will need to be trained not to bolt through an open door. Jack is healthy, up to date on vaccines, and neutered. Jack is fostered in Orange County. Please contact MELCAP@COX.NET for more info.

Sampson is wonderful with other dogs. He just loves them. He will do best in a home with another friendly and even playful friendly dog. He is currently fostered with an older Golden Retriever male and they get along beautifully.
Sampson will also do well with cats. He pretty much ignores them.
Sampson is a more submissive boy and not the dominant type. He is sensitive and loving and really pretty perfect. He is a good boy in the house and car and is housebroken and non-destructive.
Sampson will do his best in a home with another friendly canine companion and where he will get a lot of attention and love. He will need a little work on the leash. He does pretty well but can pull a little at times. He corrects easily.
He is on the larger side at about 80 lbs and is still growing - not up - but out. He will continue to fill out over the next few months and will be a stunningly gorgeous purebred male adult.
Sampson is truly a special boy. Whoever is lucky enough to meet this boy will fall hard.
Sampson is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and ready for love.

| Mitzy adopted!
Meet Mitsy, a sweet, petite female lab who is a very gentle girl! Mitsy is a pretty yellow girl of superior temperament. This 1.5 year old yellow lab is on the smaller side - she is only 50 pounds currently. She has a cute, innocent face & lovely brown eyes! Mitsy is currently a little underweight and needs to gain about 5 pounds. She should be about 55 pounds at her ideal weight. Mitsy does need her daily exercise as she is still a young Lab at only 1.5 years old, but she is the perfect mix of mellow calmness and energetic fun. Mitsy is a very loving girl who deserves lots of love and affection in return. Mitsy came to us from a high kill shelter where she was found as a stray. The shelter was a high kill shelter lacking in space and we rescued her just before she was in danger of euthanasia. Hard to believe a sweet, beautiful, calm girl like this with outstanding temperament could be in danger, but due to overpopulation, this is sadly the case. Mitsy is a darling girl who will follow you everywhere. She walks very well on leash! She also loves to sleep on your bed next to you, or on the couch and loves the doggie bed in her foster home. Mitsy also loves to play fetch. She is still learning the art of giving the ball back to you, but her foster dad is teaching her well! She is a young girl who will need her daily exercise, a nice long walk or a game of fetch is perfect for her.
Mitsy settles beautifully in the house after her walk. She likes to be close to you and nap at your feet or on the bed & nestled up close. Mitsy is completely housebroken and uses the doggie door at her foster home. Mitsy will do beautifully as an only dog or with another friendly doggie companion. She is currently fostered with a 6 year old male lab and they get along very well. Mitsy is a medium energy girl - requiring her daily exercise, but a couple of moderate walks a day are just fine for her. She is still a young girl, so she may try to put her paws up on the counter or perhaps select your shoe to chew on, so it is important to keep an eye on her and keep all food off counters & give her plenty of wonderful doggie chew toys so she doesn't get into anything. Mitsy is starting to learn some commands of sit and down. Her new family will need to continue her training, but with a gentle hand, she will learn quickly. She does not need a strong owner, she just needs some gentle positive reinforcement to continue to learn. Mitsy will do well with children, but we prefer to place her with children over age 5. She does get very excited around her toys and while playing fetch, and can jump up to try to get the toy from you quickly. She is learning to stay and wait to be given the toy, but she will benefit from continued training with this. Mitsy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped & ready for her new home! If you think this girl is the right one for you, be sure to complete an application and then send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Brooks adopted!
Meet Brooks, an adorable purebred yellow male Labrador of just about 4 years old. This yellow boy is beautiful with a gorgeous golden yellow coat, a great blocky head and beautiful soulful burnt sugar eyes. Brooks is also a nice size of about 72 pounds.
He is a happy, labby boy who is sweet and full of more love than you can imagine.
Brooks is a wonderful Lab who loves his people and and other dogs. He is wonderful with people and lovely with all other dogs and Cats. He is a great candidate for families with kitties. He gets along beautifully with his Labby sister in his foster home and he enjoys meeting new people and new dogs. Pretty much anything in life is wonderful to this guy. Brooks was picked up as a stray by one of the highest kill shelters in California where he then stayed on a hard concrete floor with the saddest face, just waiting to be rescued. This boy has the best temperament and the constant labby tail wag. Brooks likely came from a home where his family didn't pay good attention to common ear infections labs can get. This boy has likely had a few ear infections in his past, which made it necessary for him to get his ears flushed while he was neutered. With this treatment and some ear drops temporarily, he will be great in no time. The good news is he is so good about getting his ear drops and lets you touch and play with his ears lots! We are so happy to have rescued Brooks and he couldn't be happier and more thankful to be starting a fabulous new life! He just has a way about him that makes pretty much everyone smile and want to pet him. He's the kind of dog that brings joy everywhere he goes with a lovely labbie smile on his face.
Brooks needs just a brush up on some basic training, He knows his commands of sit, come and no. He settles so well in the house and really is a mellow-medium energy boy. He loves affection and will sit up right next to you to get some love and pets. If you stop petting him, you might find his paw on your leg to encourage you to pet him more. Brooks has not had any accidents in his foster home, so he seems to be completely housebroken. He can pull on leash a bit, so walking on a training collar for a while would benefit this boy. He is learning very quickly how to walk next to his leader with a loose leash. This boy would do great at dog park, he loves hiking, and walks are his favorite. He is still a young boy who needs good daily exercise, but he is a pretty mellow boy who settles very well after having his exercise.
Brooks is not mouthy, and takes treats very gently, so he would likely do well with children, but children over 5 are probably best for this boy. Brooks would do well as an only dog or with another doggie companion. Most importantly, he deserves a loving owner who will shower him with affection and attention! Brooks is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you think this is the boy for you, then be sure to send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com
