| Tennessee adopted!
Meet Tennessee, a stunningly handsome purebred English bench bred male Labrador. This playful guy is 2 years old and couldn't be a more lovable, happy boy. He's got cute little wrinkles on his forehead and gorgeous thick eyeliner giving him the most soulful, gentle eyes. You can't help but fall for this butterball. Poor Tennessee came to us from a high kill shelter in the Inland Empire! This perfect boy was turned in to the shelter along with his sister (a female German Shepard) because his family was moving! Lucky us, our volunteer was there the very next day to free this boy from the hard concrete shelter floors! His sister was rescued the very next day by another rescue group, so both are safe! Tennessee is doing great in his foster home! He is good with all the other dogs he's fostered with and every dog he meets! He loves his trips to the dog park too and gets along great with every dog there both small and large! And of course, he adores people! He's a typical wiggly happy Labrador! He can be a little jumpy when excited, but let's face it - all labbies are excited and jumpy when they are young! Tennessee is an easy going boy who takes everything in stride - not at all phased by any of it! Tennessee is a medium energy boy. He walks very well on leash - is a nice cruiser on a walk. He even enjoys playing a game of fetch! Oh and this boy is a true labbie at heart - he loves the water! He just adores the kiddie pool in the backyard of his foster home. It's not very big at all, but boy does he love to lay down in it, roll around in it and just have some great fun! He really is a fun boy to have around! Tennessee knows all his commands of come, sit, stay and down!! What a wonderfully trained dog he already is---and he's completely housebroken! One family will be getting a great, easy dog! His favorite thing is to roll over on his back for belly rubs - boy does that feel good. And oh man is this boy gorgeous! Stunning as many would say! He gets compliments on his looks and his great temperment everywhere he goes! Tennessee is also great in the car - just a happy go lucky boy. He will hop right up in the car and just sit or lay down to enjoy the ride. He is quiet, not a barker and a joy to have around. He just loves to be pet, so he's perfect to love him up with lots of attention! His foster mom says it will be hard to see this boy go as he really is just a great dog! Tennessee will do fine as an only dog or with another doggie companion. He is crate trained, never tries to get on any furniture, and takes treats very gently! What a good boy he is. We think Tennessee would do well with children, although keep in mind any happy, wiggly lab can knock a child down. Tennessee does like to chase cats, so we will not be looking at homes with kitties at this time. Tennessee is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. All he needs now is a family to call his own! If you think this is the boy for you, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Rosetta adopted!
Meet Rosetta! Rosetta or "Rosie" as we like to call her - is the cutest little petite yellow Labrador in the whole world! This smaller perfect purebred is only about 50 lbs and is as sweet as sugar! Rosie is a mellow and somewhat timid Labby of just about 3 years of age. She is a light yellow/cream color and has sweet and soulful brown eyes. Rosie came to us from a local high kill shelter where she clearly did not belong. After 5 long days of not being claimed by her owner, we found this girl curled up in a ball in the back of her kennel. Poor Rosie didn't understand why she was in the shelter and was clearly afraid of what her fate might be. As our volunteer approached her kennel and softly and gently coaxed her out, Rosie seemed grateful that this person might let her out of the awful shelter. And yes, Rosie had met an IndiLab volunteer who was her savior! We knew this girl did not belong in the shelter, and needed to come home with us! Rosie is not much for playing with other dogs - although she gets along with them fabulously! She is a submissive girl who doesn't really have much interest in rough housing and playing with another dog. It seems that doggie toys and bones are also new to this girl as she looks at them with some confusion. She deserves a home that will slowly introduce her to the fun a dog can have with a dog bone or chew toy! Rosie walks fabulously on leash, rides great in the car, and appears housebroken as she has not had any accidents in her foster home. She has nice house manners - following her foster mom from room to room just to be near her. Rosie can be found climbing onto the couch at times, but corrects very easily if you prefer she not get on the furniture. Rosie's one habit that needs correction is her counter surfing. As most labbies, Rosie can be found with her front paws up on the kitchen counters looking for food. Her foster mom is quickly correcting this behavior, but her new home will need to be sure there is no food left on the counters for Rosie to get into until she is 100% trained out of this labbie behavior. Rosie is a low to medium energy girl who will do well in a home with a couple nice walks during the day and not needing much more. She is a great dog to take to work with you, if you so desire! She is not much for playing fetch or playing with other dogs, but would make a nice doggie companion as she does get along great with other dogs. Rosie will do well as an only dog or with another doggie companion. Although she would prefer her doggie companion be good company, but not try to play with her a lot as Rosie is not that playful herself. Ultimately Rosie loves her people and would love a home where her family is around more often or where she can go to work with you. Rosie deserves a home where she can be given the love and affection she deserves throughout the day! We do not know how Rosie will do with cats, so we will not consider homes with cats for her at this time. Rosie will do well with children, but since she is a little timid girl, with a gentle nature, we would prefer she go to a home with older children, or with children who are also gentle in nature and will not overwhelm her. This is a very adorable smaller sized girl who has the best heart and sweetest temperment. Rosie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on flea control. If you think Rosie is the girl for you, be sure to complete an application and send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

Crystal adopted!
Meet Crystal! Crystal is our newest addition to the IndiLab family. At just 7-8 months old, she is a darling yellow female lab puppy! She has gorgeous black eye liner around her eyes, and a cute little black nose too! She is a perfect size at just about 55 pounds, so she will likely grow to be about 65 pounds at her adult size. Crystal has great luck on her side. This little girl was seen by our volunteer less than an hour after she was dropped off at a local shelter by her family. Yes.... her previous owners said they didn't have the time to train a puppy and sadly dropped her off at the shelter one weekday morning before work. Our volunteer saw her minutes later and immediately rescued her. So with luck on her side, Crystal spent only about 45 minutes in a kennel with 2 other shelter puppies, just playing around! Crystal is a typical darling lab puppy! She is playful and fun, but also gentle and kind - the perfect kind of puppy. She will of course need a puppy proofed home as she may choose the wrong thing to chew on here and there. She enjoys the dog bones and doggie toys at her foster home, and would love for her new family to provide her with some nice doggie bones in her new home. Crystal is a medium energy pup... loves to nustle up close to you for kisses and attention. She is a young lab, so she will need good daily exercise - would love trips to dog park, dog beach or play dates with other dogs. But she settles fabulously after her exercise! She is quite mellow for a pup. Playing for about 30 minutes and then settling down to rest at your feet. She is a very submissive girl with other dogs, plays nicely and gently with them and shares bones and toys really well with her foster siblings! She would do well as an only dog, or with another doggie companion. She plays gently with the lab puppy in her foster home, and gives nice kisses to the 9 year old lab in her foster home. She is gentle and kind, so is the kind of puppy that wouldn't overwhelm an older dog. Crystal would also do great in a puppy obedience course - of course all puppies would benefit from this. She does pull on leash a bit, but is easily corrected, and of course as a puppy will quickly learn to heel at her person's side! She knows her command of "sit" but is still working on her other commands. She is eager to please and true to her labbie ways, she loves treats, so can be easily taught her other commands. She can be jumpy when excited but her foster mom is teaching her to stay on all fours when she greets people and she is learning quickly. Crystal is as darling as they come! One family will be getting a fabulous female lab puppy when they adopt her! She seems housebroken as so far she has not had any potty accidents in her foster home, but of course as a young pup she should be watched at first in her new home! Crystal is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and now looking for her new and forever home committed to helping her grow into the fabulous adult dog she is meant to be! If you are ready to bring this sweet girl into your home, be sure to email indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Bentley 2 adopted!
Meet Bentley, the very best cutest and sweetest white male Labrador ever. Bentley is a star. Bentley is a purebred English 8 year old male Lab who is just about 95 lbs and is nothing but pure adorableness. He is a mellow gentle boy who is pure joy to be with. He knows him basic command including shake and he wants nothing more than to please, cuddle, wiggle, smile and love. Bentley came to us 6 years ago at age 2 from a high kill shelter where he was in danger. He was placed with a family who until recently provided him a home. However the family fell on hard times and Bentley ended up back with his foster mom who was all to glad to have this boy with her!!!! After all, he IS the perfect love bug of all time. Bentley is exceptional. He always has been. He is perfect with dogs, cats, ducks, toddlers and the elderly. He has superior temperament and besides that his cuteness factor is off the charts. Honestly his foster mom would keep him if she could, but with three Labs already living in the home that might be a bit much!!!! Bentley is not a barker, digger, or chewer. He is perfect inside and outside and perfect on the leash and in the car. He will do great as your one and only or as a canine companion. Sadly the last couple of years have NOT been great for this boy as his home life deteriorated. As such, we really want him to go to the very best home where he will be spoiled and adored and not left in a yard all day alone while owners are at work. He's 8 years old now and he deserves the next 6 years to be treated like royalty! And we sure know he's worth it!!!! Bentley is a tad chubby these days. He weighed in at 95 lbs and should be more like 80 at his ideal weight. He is an average sized male Labrador and will be healthiest with a few pounds off. Since he loves his walks more than anything on earth and since he is a good walker who passes other dogs nicely, shedding the excess chub will be fun for both Bentley AND his new owner. Bentley is a healthy boy who is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, wormed, neutered, and has had a recent blood panel done telling us he is in superior health. His only health issue is his slight chubbiness and being a little out of shape. Bentley is the best of the best. His foster mom says "get in line!" and "be prepared to convince her you are the best!" because this guy only deserves the best! If you are approved, have tons of love, and can give Bentley the best home, please email his foster mom at donna@indilabrescue.org

| Dublin adopted!
Meet Dublin, a stunningly handsome purebred English bench bred yellow male Labrador. This mellow yellow guy is just about 5 years old and couldn't be a more easy going fella.
Dublin came to us from a very high kill shelter where he was in danger of euthanasia. It's not too hard to see why we grabbed this prize! He is just a love bug. He's a bit overweight right now, so just needs a family that will help him lose his extra 10 pounds or so to get to his ideal weight. Dublin is doing great in his foster home. He is very good with dominant female lab he is fostered with. In fact, he is good all other dogs and of couse adores people! He is a gentle, easy going boy who takes everything in stride - not at all phased by any of it! This calm guy is non-destructive, not a big barker and is a nice cruiser on a walk. He loves his walks and walks perfectly on leash right next to you.
Dublin will also do fine with children. He's big and wiggly at time so could for sure knock a todder over. Any Lab will do that. And any Lab is oportunistic when it come to snacks, so families with little ones must consider this. But overall he is great with the children he is fostered with and all the other children he has met. Dublin needs a nice walk every day but is a mellow guy so is pretty easy. He is a great candidate for therapy work if you are looking for a dog to work with over time. He is a nice couch potato of a boy.
Dublin knows all his commands of come, sit, stay and down!! What a wonderfully trained dog he already is. One family will be getting a great, easy dog! Dublin is also great in the car - just a happy go lucky boy. He just loves to be pet, and what a soft and fluffy coat he has, so he's perfect to love him up with lots of attention! Dublin will do fine as an only dog or with another doggie companion.
Dublin is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. All he needs now is a family to call his own!
If you think Dublin is the one for you, and you are approved and ready to adopt, please email IndiLabGirl@gmail.com

Samantha came to us from a high kill shelter where her owners had turned her in becuae they did not want her anymore. To us that's pretty crazy because this girl is perfect. She is a therapy quality dog who knows her commands, is 100% housebroken, and is just the most mellow sweet playful girl around. Samantha is a velcro dog meaning she wants to be right with her person. She is amazing with all other dogs big and small and she is wonderful on the leash. She VERY much wants to please. To think her original owners had even one small complain is beyound understanding. She is that good. Samantha is not destructive in the house and is 100% housebroken. She settles beautifully in the house and is wonderful on the leash out and about as well. She will do beatifully with another friend canine companion as she loves other dogs. | Mo 2 adopted!
Meet Mo, a stunningly handsome purebred English bench bred male Labrador. This mellow yellow guy is 3 years old and couldn't be a more easy going fella. He's got cute little wrinkles on his forehead and gorgeous thick eyeliner giving him the most soulful, gentle eyes. You can't help but fall for this butterball. Mo came to us from a loving family whose circumstances changed and they found they could no longer afford to keep this AKC registered bear of a boy and his mini-Aussie brother who will be available shortly. Mo is just a love bug. He's a tad overweight right now, so he needs a family that will commit to helping him lose his extra pounds to get to his ideal weight through diet and careful exercise. And until his weight is down a little, there will just be more of this snuggle bunny to love! Mo is doing great in his foster home. He is good with all the other dogs he's fostered with and the Mini-Aussie he was raised with. And of course, he adores people! He's a typical wiggly happy Labrador! He has a tendency to grab your hands when he is excited, so we think families with older children are best. Mo is a gentle, easy going boy who takes everything in stride - not at all phased by any of it! This calm guy is non-destructive, not a barker and is a nice cruiser on a walk. Mo needs a nice long walk every day, twice a day if possible. He love to pick up a ball and bring it to you, but he can only manage short retrieves at the "Mo-ment". All his extra weight makes chasing balls and other play hard, but he joins in enthusiastically for a few minutes until tired, and his foster mom thinks there's a more active dog waiting to emerge. Mo knows all his commands of come, sit, stay and down!! What a wonderfully trained dog he already is---he'll even shake hands with you. One family will be getting a great, easy dog! Mo is also great in the car - just a happy go lucky boy. He just loves to be pet, so he's perfect to love him up with lots of attention! Mo will do fine as an only dog or with another doggie companion. He's always been part of a pair, even sharing the same crate and food bowl. In his foster home, he's no longer sharing and is very much at ease with this turn of events. Mo is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. All he needs now is a family to call his own! If you think Mo is the one for you, and you are approved and ready to adopt, please email reader.family@verizon.net

| Sadie 4 adopted!
Oh now who is this pretty peach of a Lab? It's Sadie...a darling, purebred yellow female lab with a heart of gold! Sadie is a well bred 8 year young lovely lady and they honestly don't come much better. Sadie is a healthy girl with perfect conformation. Her white coat and burnt sugar eyes make her the belle of the ball. And she is a sweet as she is gorgeous with the nicest friendliest and playful temperament. Her foster mom says she is a joy to have. Sadie came to us from a lovely family who found themselves on hard times, needing to move, and unable to take Sadie with them. Sadie was clearly loved and well cared for in their hands! She is at a perfect weight - a nice smaller size at about 60 pounds. And she knows her commands well and wants to please. She is good in the car and she has a nice disposition with all she meets. Sadie is a medium energy girl. She is sound and healthy and can easily do a 3 mile or more hike if you want OR she can settle into a routine on just 1/2 an hour or so. She can be active and energetic when you want and a couch potato too. She's perfect for most families. Sadie is very good on leash at passing other dogs but she can sometimes pull a little on her leash - especially if she sees a teasing squirrel on her walk. This will be remedied in the next day or two as her foster mom does training and will correct this. She corrects easily as she wants to please her person but she so enjoys her walks that she can sometimes pull just out of sheer joy and happiness. The pulling subsides naturally as you get going. Sadie is so pretty and healthy you would never know she was 8 years old. Her coat shines like glass and her eyes are clear and bright. She is sound and youthful and looks like a 4 year old. She has the calm and seasoned nature of her years mixed with the fun and health of a youngster. Her foster mom says whoever gets her will SCORE!!! Sadie is completely trustworthy in the house, she is housebroken and will make one family a fabulous companion! Sadie loves her doggie toys and dog bones and can be found playing with a delightful nature about her in her foster home. She is really just a happy go lucky labbie girl. In fact, Sadie also enjoys swimming, so certainly would enjoy trips to dog beach, the lake, or perhaps your backyard pool if you have one. Sadie is a pretty special girl. She is great with all other dogs and cats too! In fact she lived with 2 cats in her previous home, so she would be a great choice for a family with cats as she just ignores them and is used to their company. Sadie will do great with another friendly canine companion or as your one and only dog in the home. Sadie is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped! If you think Sadie is the lovely lady for you, be sure to send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Neptune adopted!
Introducing Neptune, a handsome 3 year old youngster with lots of labby love and playfulness to offer some lucky family. Neptune is a beautiful black purebred with a gorgeous coat and face. He's a bit underweight at the moment, but is gaining every day and should soon be back to an ideal weight very soon. Neptune has a wonderful Labrador temperament! He is still a youngster at age 3 and is pretty playful---typical Labby temperament. He loves retrieving. An endless supply of tennis balls is a must have for this guy---He adores getting a tennis ball for you and brings it back every time. Neptune will also do great as a jogging/hiking partner. Trail running and beach play would also be a good activity for this boy. He's a young energetic and playful boy, but settles nicely after proper exercise and is a mellow dream in the house. This youngster is doing great in his foster home. After an initial settling in period, he gets along fabulously with the two Labs and Aussie that he's fostered with. He loves the 16 year old boy who plays with him and is happy to lay at his feet watching him play video games. He would love to be with children. Neptune really wants to please his person and is looking for his forever home. Once he feels like he's found his place, he relaxes into the household groove. He is young and active and needs training since he is still really just a pupster himself. He is good on the leash after initial correction and is quickly learning his basic commands. He is still learning to be crate trained, but once in the crate, he sleeps the whole night through nicely. His house manners are very nice, with no counter surfing, although he would love to join you for a snuggle on the couch or bed. Neptune will do great with another friendly canine companion around his age or as your one and only. He has not been introduced to cats or other small animals while in foster. This beautiful boy came to us from a high kill shelter where he was picked up as a stray. He was sick and starving, but never lost his love and trust for his human companions. We still can't believe no one came for such a stunningly gorgeous purebred like this!!! Neptune is a healthy boy who is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you feel a young beautiful boy like Neptune is right for you and you are approved to adopt, please sent an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

| Flynn adopted!
Meet Flynn, a stunningly handsome purebred English bench bred male Labrador. This mellow yellow guy is just about 4 years old and couldn't be a more easy going fella. Flynn came to us from a very high kill shelter where he was in danger of euthanasia. It's not too hard to see why we grabbed this prize! He is just a love bug. Flynn is doing great in his foster home. He is very good with the 3 cats that live there and the ultra dominant female Lab as well. He is good with cats AND dogs and of couse adores people. This calm guy is non-destructive, not a big barker and is a nice cruiser on a walk. He loves his walks and loves to retrieve the ball. Flynn seems to also love water. Though we haven't actually had him swimming, he did enjoy digging in a GIANT "waterbowl" his foster mom keeps in the back yard on hot days. And of couse when he got his bath outside with a hose, he loved it so much he eventually layed down enjoying being squirted. What a silly darling boy! We're pretty certain he will love the pool, lake and dog beach as well. Flynn will also do fine with children. He's big and wiggly at time so could for sure knock a todder over. Any Lab will do that. And any Lab is oportunistic when it come to snacks, so families with little ones must consider this. Flynn needs a nice walk every day but is a mellow guy so is pretty easy. He is a great candidate for therapy work if you are looking for a dog to work with over time. Flynn probably will do best with another friendly canine buddy but we also think he'll do fine as an only dog. He rides nicely in the car, is crate trained, well behaved, and just a joy. Flynn is up to date on vaccines, and microchipped and will be neutered this Wednesday. If you feel this dolly is right for you and you are approved to adopt, please be sure to email scartersoo@mac.com

| Mr. Tibbits adopted!
Meet Mr. Tibbits, a stunningly handsome male 2 year old purebred Labrador. Mr. Tibbits is an English or Bench Bred Lab with a giant block head and is show or close to show quality in conformation. He is really just gorgeous! He is a light cream/white colored yellow male Lab of about 80 pounds - the perfect size for a male Lab. You might know Mr. Tibbits from our facebook page. We found Mr. Tibbits at a local high kill shelter where he came in with a horrible wound in his shoulder from being hit by a car. This poor gorgeous boy - so sad where he ended up. The shelter started his medical care, but it became clear that Mr. Tibbits would need additional quality care to recover his beautiful good looks. We promptly rescued this darling boy and got him to our amazing vet where she performed immediate surgery on his wound. That was one week ago and Mr. Tibbits is looking and feeling great now! His wound is healing perfectly and in just a few days his stitches will come out and he will be as good as new! Mr. Tibbits is all boy. He is very darling. He is learning his manners in the house and doing really well, settling down nicely, staying off the furniture and just learning to be a really good boy. Mr. Tibbits is still a young labbie at age 2, so he still has puppy playful energy in him and will need a home where you are prepared for him to be an entertaining puppy a little longer. He's such a silly, happy, goofy boy! He is wonderful on the leash. He doesn't pull one bit and is a good walker. And he LOVES his walks more than anything. Because he is still a young boy, he needs a good walk every day. But after his exercise he prefers a nice nap on his bed after giving a few kisses. Mr. Tibbits is very good with other dogs. He loves to play with other dogs. He would likely enjoy another playful doggie in his new home - or trips to dog park and doggie playdates to satisfy his love of playing with other dogs. Mr. Tibbits also knows his commands of sit, down, shake and is learning more as we write this. What a smart boy he is! He is really just a great dog in almost every way. His looks are off the charts. He is amazingly loving and loyal. And he is a really good boy in the house settling down so nicely. Plus walking him is pure pleasure as he glides right at your side. Mr. Tibbits will likely do well with children as he is just a big love bug - allowing you to do almost anything to him and taking it all in stride. That being said, of course children need to be taught the proper ways to behave around a dog. Mr. Tibbits is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped, and now cleared by our vet for adoption! If you would like to give this gorgeous boy a loving forever home, be sure to complete an application and then send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Royce adopted!
Meet Royce, a stunningly beautiful black purebred Labrador with regal looks and a heart of gold. This boy is a prince and is looking for the best forever home. Royce, whom his foster parents call Shadow, is a wonderful senior gentlemen or 9 years who just wants to be a best buddy and give his new family tons of love. Royce has superior temperament and a calm, mellow personality. He loves all people, all dogs and all kitties. He is pretty much the gentlist doll baby around and he his foster mom thinks he is very special. Royce came to us from a shelter where the volunteers and workers fell head over hells in love with him and contacted us for help. After all, what is not to love with this guy? He loves to be pet, ears rubbed and cuddles. He will nudge you for more if he can get more and he is a best friends who will lay at your feet while you work or watch TV. He wants to be where you are like the loyal Lab he is. Royce seems to be a little hard of hearing but it doesn't bother him any. He is there to follow you everywhere in case he isn’t already (hence the name Shadow). He will lean against you or lay at your feet or on a close dog bed while you watch TV, read or just relax. He is a great companion. Royce walks beautifully on a leash. He has great mobility and good hips. But he is an older boy who needs his daily glucosamine and occasionally has just some back end joint stiffness common in all Labradors. He loves his walks and is friendly to all other dogs he meets along the way. Royce is non destructive and totally housebroken. He does great with a doggy door or open door and will let himself out to potty. This healthy boy has recently had all his blood work done and dental work where needed and has been given a clean bill of health. All that's needed now is a fabulous home to treasure this stunning beautiful purebred boy and enjoy his calm zen nature! Royce takes his cookies gently, never grabbing and is definitely not a counter surfer. He's a gentleman after all. If you think this gorgeous easy going Labrador is right for your family and you have been approved to adopt, please follow up with an email to janr4labrescue@yahoo.com to arrange a meeting.

| Louis adopted!
Meet Louis, a lovely chocolate male Labrador of just under 1 year old. Louis is on the petite side at only 50 pounds. He has a calm, timid nature and just wants to be loved! Since he is a young boy, and a little underweight currently, he will gain a few pounds still. When he's full grown and at his ideal weight, he will likely be a small lab of about 65 pounds! Louis came to us from a very high kill shelter where he ended up with another dog around his age. Neither dog was ever claimed by their owner, so Louis came home with us! Louis is a good mix of mellow calmness and energetic fun. He's a young guy who needs a nice walk or dog park and is a gentle boy who wants nothing more than love and affection. He will sit right up next to you just to get attention and even try to crawl into your lap if you let him. He loves to cuddle up next to you and have his head on your lap or your chest - if you're looking for a the perfect smaller sized lab - you've found him in Louis! Louis is a bit on the thin side - slightly underweight at 50lbs, but now that he is in our care, we are feeding him plenty of high quality food and healthy doggie treats so he can gain the 5-10 pounds he should gain to be at a healthy weight. We ask that his new family also be committed to helping him gain a little weight. He will likely be about 65 pounds when he is at his ideal weight, so he will still be a petite boy! Louis is a sweet, darling boy, who will follow you everywhere. He walks pretty well on leash - walking by your side, rarely pulling and passing other doggies beautifully with a friendly submissive wag. Louis is completely housebroken. He is well mannered in the house, although he will find his way up onto your couch if you let him. He is still a young boy, so he is still learning his commands, and may need a reminder or two about not going after food on countertops, but he really wants to please and is a calm boy with a loving temperment. Louis settles beautifully in the house after his walk or playtime. He likes to be close to you and nap at your feet or on the dog bed & nestled up close. He is truly wonderful with all other dogs. He is fostered with 2 other labs a male and a female about 7 years old and he is great, and actually submissive with both of them. He would like to play with another dog, but is still learning how to play - it's quite cute to watch this young guy learn! He is a mostly calm, and submissive boy, who is very gentle in greeting other doggies and very comfortable around them. Louis will do beautifully as an only dog or with another friendly doggie companion. He is a medium energy boy - requiring his daily exercise, but a couple of moderate walks a day and some playtime in the backyard are just fine for him. Ideally Louis will have another doggie companion or a home where he is not left alone long hours. We don't think Louis would do well left all alone for 7 or so hours every day. Louis will likely do well with children although we would prefer to place him in a home with kids older than 6. He is a gentle boy, but can sometimes be a little timid or startled by quick movements. Louis is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped & ready for his new home! If you think this young, petite boy is the one for you, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Clark adopted!
Meet Clark, the sweetest little lab pup you’ll ever meet. Clark is approximately 9-10 months old and is a petite sized male black labby boy! He weighs only 45 pounds right now. Of course he is not quite done growing, so he will likely be a 60 pound, smaller sized boy when he is full grown. Clark and his brother were picked up as strays around the fourth of July, but no one ever claimed them, so we scooped them up got them neutered and up to date on all of their shots, and into foster care. Clark is being fostered with another female lab and a cat. He’s wonderful with both animals! This boy is a great choice for a family with cats or other dogs! He and his foster sister co-exist well, but haven’t quite figured out how to play just yet. He’s curious about the cat, but mostly he keeps a safe distance. Clark hasn't yet learned what doggie toys are for. It is likely he never saw a doggie toy before coming into foster, so he would love a family that will slowly introduce him to some fun doggie toys. However, if the idea of playing fetch with him right away is very important to you, Clark probably isn't the right dog. He needs to learn what the ball is for and what to do when his person throws it - silly boy. The best part about Clark is that he is probably one of the calmest puppies ever! He settled into his foster home beautifully, and hasn’t shown any destructive behaviors. He’s more concerned with showering his foster parents with love. In fact, Clark hugs people! Normally when a dog jumps up, it’s not such a pleasant thing. but Clark gets his paws around a person’s waist and gently stays there in a hug. It’s very unusual yet very endearing. And, Clark would love nothing more than to be your lap dog! He loves curling up on the laps of his foster parents!! Clark is completely housebroken, rides great in the car, and did I mention how sweet and cute he is? In all seriousness though, Clark is a very special little dog and deserves only the kindest family to welcome him into their home - is that you? Clark is neutered, up to date on vaccines and flea control, microchipped and ready for his new home! If you think Clark is the boy for you, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Lola 3 adoption pending!
Meet Lola 3, a gorgeous and sweet purebred yellow female Labrador of just 3 years and just about 80 lbs. She has a beautiful face and a stunning light cream colored, soft coat. This gorgeous girl is pure sweetness and just full of love and laughter. Lola came to us from her owners when they had to move into a small apartment that would not allow large dogs like Lola. They had adopted Lola just one year ago from a high-kill shelter, but their financial situation recently changed and they found themselves needing to downsize their life. Unfortunately that meant Lola could not come with them. Lola is a medium energy girl who needs her daily exercise. She loves her walks, enjoys playing with toys in the yard, likes to swim, and would probably enjoy hiking with you too! Once she has had her exercise, she settles nicely in the house and is a sweet and calm girl. Lola is good with all other dogs both big and small. She lived with 2 small dogs in her home and did great with them. She also does well with the labbie girl she is fostered with and the other labbie girls she has met while in foster! She can get very excited when she meets another dog she wants to play with and will sometimes bark at them to invite play. She is learning that when she is a bit calmer, her doggie friends are more likely to play! Lola loves her doggie toys and bones in her foster home. She takes treats very gently - what a good girl! She does need a brush up on her commands, but she so wants to please you, this should be very easy for her new family to do! She comes when called and responds well to corrections, and does not exhibit any counter surfing or destructive behaviors. Lola would likely do very well around children, as she has proven to be very gentle with the little ones she has met. However, she is a wiggly girl and as a large breed dog, she could easily knock a toddler down. She is not overly jumpy, but when she gets excited, she can jump up to say hello. Lola rides beautifully in the car, just sitting down and calmly enjoying the ride. She would love a home where she will get her daily exercise and playtime, and where she can brush up on her commands. Mostly, she just needs a forever home who will shower her with lots of love and affection. Lola would do great as your one and only, or with another doggie companion big or small. Lola is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and now ready for her new forever home! If you think Lola 3 is the girl for you, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Keiley adoption pending!
Labradors are known for their kind dispositions. Even among Labs, Keiley ranks as one of the most gentle and sweet of them all. Keiley is a smaller Lab of about 60 pounds with delicate features, deep eyes and a kind and calm vibe that makes everyone who meets her fall in love with her. She craves attention and cuddling, and will keep asking for more by softly touching you with her paw. It’s heartbreakingly cute when she does. We don’t know what kind of bad luck landed this svelte and graceful two or three year-old in a kill shelter. It can’t be for anything she did, because Keiley is a demure and easygoing girl who loves affection more than anything. When she was rescued by IndiLabs, Keilley had been bitten numerous times and had some scars, so in her previous life she must have been exposed to a biting dog. Her past experiences haven’t affected her love for people or dogs, but now it’s time for her not to have to worry about being hurt any more. This submissive girl would benefit from a home environment where she will be treated gently. This is a Lab who loves all other dogs and is impeccably well-behaved even with rambunctious toddlers climbing all over her. She liked the one cat she met, and was gentle with him indoors. But when they were placed together outdoors and the cat made a break for it, Keilley chased him a little. There was no aggression, she just wanted him to play, and she stopped when told to, but this would mean that Keiley would not be appropriate for a cat family without experience at introducing dogs and cats to one another. She is not rebellious and will listen when asked to stop doing something. Keiley isn’t formally trained, but she is highly cooperative and wants to please, so she will be a star in her obedience classes and can be expected to graduate with honors. She will come when called and responds to soft voice requests to drop things or to stop doing anything. Once in a while she will forget herself and get up to see what’s on the kitchen counter, but she gets down the instant she is reminded of her manners. She does not have any bad habits, such as destructive chewing or going into the garbage. She is quiet, and has only barked once in a week. When you get ready to leave the house, you can count on Keilley watching you with great concern. If she finds out that she gets to go with you, she becomes joyful. She loves going for rides in the car and sits in her seat calmly enjoying the sights and smells. When she has to wait for you at the store, she stays calm. Keilley likes to sleep on the couch and then come up and flirt with you when you wake up in the mornings. Make no mistake - Keilley is a real cuddle pup who will want to be with you all the time. When you’re working at your desk or watching TV you can count on Keilley to come over and give you her special look and to place a paw on your leg. Because she loves other dogs so much and doesn’t strive for dominance, she would thrive in a family pack that has another dog. Keilley is good on the leash, with only slight pulling that will be easily corrected with basic obedience training and she is lots of fun at the dog park. A big proponent of the traditional Labrador love of good food and chewy treats, Keilley can be counted on to watch every move you make in the kitchen in the hopes of getting to share a little of the pack’s food, but she doesn’t beg or become obnoxious in any way. She just wants to be with you and a part her pack, which is just the right way to be. Keilley is microchipped and up to date on all her vaccinations. She’s going in for her spay on Wednesday, July 18th, so she’ll be under the weather for a short while. Keilley injured a couple of her claws, and while they’re growing back she shouldn’t go on long hikes or for swims, but she still loves her walks and this is not noticeable, but should be remembered so that she can heal. This is an especially gentle and sweet young girl. If you think this gentle sweetheart is the one for you, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

| Cassie 2 adopted!
This is dear Cassie! She is a darlingly adorable purebred dudley female of just about 4 years. Cassie is a gorgeous blond girl!!! Actually, she is a pale yellow dudley female and she is about the prettiest girl you'll ever see. She is beautifully bred with soulful burnt sugar eyes and a sweet face. Cassie's dew claws have been removed so we know she is from a breeder. She has an amazing block head uncommon for females so she is really just a beautiful purebred girl. Cassie came to us becuase her family decided they didn't want her anymore after having puppies so they dumped her at a very high kill shelter. Just like that, they threw this sweet girl away!!! We can't understand it as she is so loving and perfect. Cassie is fostered with 4 other Labradors and is lovely with them all. That said she may enjoy being the only dog as she really loves all the attention. She's a real cuddle bug! In the house Cassie loves to be near you. She is very gentle and calm and will lay by your feet when you watch a movie or sit at your computer. She has just the right amount of playfulness too and is adorable with her toys. She loves kongs and soft toys alike and is adorable carrying them around. Cassie is a medium energy girl. She lover her walks and loves carrying a toy or ball in her mouth. She is a true retriever. She loves to retrieve almost anything you throw but is not obsessive at all. Quite the opposite. She'll retrieve when you want and settle when you want. She only wants to please her person. She is a very happy girl and her tail wags the second you look at her. Cassie is a tad on the chunky side weighing maybe 10 lbs more than she should but since she's been in foster she has already lost a few lbs. simply by taking her walks and eating a little less food. She loves to walk and passes every dog she meets nicely. Cassie would love to be with kids but loves food. Since toddlers are constatly carrying snacks around she will likely attempt to help herself. Cassie is great on and off leash staying right with you. She loves to go on the trails with her foster mom and other Labbies. She is wonderful to every other dog and person and just enjoys her outings. She goes off leash on the trails and comes when called. Cassie is a pretty special girl. She is a typical wiggly Labrador who carries her toys everywhere. She is the picture of what a Labrador should be!!!! She is healthy, recently spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you feel this beauty queen is right for you and you have been approved, please be sure to email donna@indilabrescue.org

| Coco 4 adopted!
Meet Coco! Talk about lovely, lovely, lovely. This beautiful English purebred chocolate female is pure sweetness. Coco is just about 5 years old. She is a darling stocky chocolate English and exactly what we look for in a Labby. When we first got her she was very chunky but has lost 10 lbs in her foster home already!!!! She is still just a little chunky but will be at perfect weight in no time with simple diet and exercise. She loves the ball and loves her walks. Coco came to us from a very high kill shelter in California. The shelter saw a dirty dog blowing her coat and listed her as older. Well as soon as we got Coco home, gave her 3 really good baths, brushed out her coat, and made her beautiful, it was clear she was a younger dog. We and our vet agree, Coco is a 4-5 year old dog. Coco is a perfect dog in the house! She is gentle and wiggly and happy all the time. And she loves to be next to her person. She is completely housebroken and mellow in the house. She settles right down with just a short walk and enjoys laying at your feet while you are on the computer or watching TV. Coco also walks well on leash - pulling very little. She wants to stay right with her person, so she is great off leash too! Coco is also well trained - she knows her commands of sit and down and responds well to "come" as well!! Someone spent some time training this sweet girl - and one new family will be very lucky to get this well mannered girl! Coco enjoys chasing the ball and will retrieve and then gently give the ball back to you with ease. What a good girl she is! She really enjoys playing fetch, but is not obsessive about it at all. Playing fetch is a great way for this girl to lose some of her extra pounds along with her daily walks. Coco is a medium to low energy gentle girl. She absolutely loves her walks and walks beautifully on the leash, passing other dogs nicely and greeting everyone. She is the perfect mix of super easy and playful that we all love. Coco will do great as an only dog as she can be left alone and she does very well - never showing any destructiveness at all. Coco might also do well with another friendly doggie companion. All she needs is a loving family who will help her lose her extra pounds to reach her ideal weight! Something that diet and exercise fix quickly and easily. Coco is not jumpy or mouthy and we feel she would be a great choice for a family with kids. Coco is healthy, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and spayed. If you think Coco is the girl for you, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Barton adopted!
Meet our new friend Barton! Barton is a really, really well bred English (or Bench Bred) purebred Labrador male. He's about 6 years old and is a happy boy! He has a big old blocky head, a stocky Labrador body, and the softest coat ever! Barton is a typical sized boy at about 75 lbs and he is as calm and gentle as a little lamb. He is a true Labby lover - just the way we like 'em! Barton is wonderful with all people and all dogs - even little dogs. He's not that playful with other dogs, although likes their company, but mostly he is a calm boy who settles very nicely in the house! Barton has had a hard life lately we think. Someone paid some good money for this good looking purebred boy for sure - but somewhere along the line, his life changed. He ended up lost without a home, and was sideswipped by a car before he ended up at the shelter. Thank goodness he had no major injuries, just a couple bumps and bruises - what a lucky boy! He is now all healed up and ready for a new home that will never let him go! Barton does so well with all other dogs! He is fostered with another female labbie and has met other big and little dogs, older dogs and puppies too! He gets along fabulously with all of them! Tolerating the puppies persistence to play with him and the little dogs barking and yapping at him... he takes it all in stride and isn't phased by it one bit. He's a very submissive boy who loves to roll on his back for belly rubs. He is a perfect gentleman in the house too - completely housebroken and good mannered. And he is great on leash to boot! He rarely pulls and enjoys his walks greatly. Barton will do well in a home with or without other dogs. We don't know how he will do around cats, so we will not look for a home with kitties at this time for him. He is a couch potato mostly - with some fun playful energy and a happy tail wag and labbie smile! He will do great with daily walks - maybe trips to the dog park or dog beach. He does great in the car, so you can take him anywhere with you! This boy will likely not be a jogging partner or a hiker, he is a more mellow boy that will be happy even if you miss a day walking him. Barton is a gentle boy - not mouthy or jumpy at all, so he would likely do well in a home with children. Barton is now ready for a wonderful loving family who will treasure him. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you think this gorgeous boy is the one for you, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Lab Puppies!!! adopted!
It's puppy time! Our beautiful sweet girl Charlene (just adopted) came to us pregnant and ready to drop. Within hourse of arrival to her foster mom's she had given birth to a healthy litter of 9 darling purebred Labrador puppies. These little sweethearts will be ready to go to their new puppy-approved forever homes beginning July 20th when they turn 8 weeks of age. We are looking for qualified, committed, puppy approved homes for them now. We have 5 females and 4 males. Two of them are white dudleys (male and female), the rest range from all manner of shades of yellow. Two of the yellows are also dudleys. All of them are absoluty gorgeous. Puppies will have their first shots when they go home. They can not be exposed to the outside world until they recieve all three rounds of vaccination. Puppy approved homes will have at least one person home with puppy for the first 2 months. All puppy homes must agree to a strict spay/neuter agreement. Puppies are a huge lifelong commitment. The wake you up during the night, chew things, destroy and cry. When they begin teething they become and remain extremely mouthy until they are about a year - some longer. During that time they can and often do break skin biting you and will do this to toddlers and little kids. They require training. They require an enormous amount of time and especially hours of exercise each day until they are about 4 yrs of age. Please consider carefully if a Labrador puppy with their long puppyhood, large size, and endless energy is right for you. If you feel you are a puppy ready home, and have had a homecheck, please email indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Kingston adopted!
Meet Kingston, a darling 5 month old purebred male Labrador puppy! He's still losing his baby teeth. What a doll. He's still a little guy who's growing and only weighs 35 lbs right now. So adorable!!!! Kingston will grow to be a medium to smaller sized purebred and will be a medium energy adult as he is a calmer puppy but he IS still a puppy! Kingston is a shiny, jet black beauty with the sweetest disposition and temperament. He is just the lovliest boy and whoever adopts him will SCORE becuase he is just so exceptional! Kingston came to us when his owner decided to move away and give him to a friend who decided she could not care for a puppy. She wanted us to find the best home for this Labrador and we are thrilled he is in our care. Kingston is a sweet and well behaved youngster. He is wonderful with all dogs and he is a playful happy guy. He LOVES dog park and is wonderful on his walks too. He loves to play with the other dogs he is fostered with and is respectful of the older dogs too. Kingston is still a baby and a little guy who is still growing. He is darn adorable!!! He wants to please and learn and just be your baby. He'll do beautifully with a family who is puppy ready and he would excel at puppy school given his desire to please his person and how smart he is. Kingston has the exact temperament we look for in a Labrador puppy. He is friendly, adorable, smart, only wants to please and loves everyone and every dog. He will even do great with cats. Kingston will be neuterd and up to date on all vaccines. If you feel this young purebred Lab puppy is right for you, and you have been approved to adopt, please email donna@indilabrescue.org

| India adopted!
Meet India, and jet black, shiney, princess of a purebred Labrador who will steel your heart in seconds with her gentle nature and beautiful face. India is a medium to petite girl of just about 2 years. India came to us as a rescued stray from the Carson shelter. Some kind of bad luck landed this innocent spirit in a shelter, but before that she clearly came from a family who loved her, and it shows in her gentle and happy demeanor. Even after a probable stint in the streets, enough to frighten any dog, India is a confident, calm and happy two-year-old. She's a sweet girl who loves people, is immaculately well-behaved and as gentle as a lamb. Someone is in for a real treat. India was underweight when she was checked in to the shelter, and then spayed, so she's just starting to enjoy getting back on a full diet. She's a real girly-girl, feminine and kind. She doesn't even splash too much water around when she drinks! It's going to be a pleasure helping this grateful angel get her weight back up. She's healthy, microchipped and vaccinated. This girl is deeply appreciative of friendship and highly respectful. Even while recuperating from her spay, she always made sure to offer her foster a few wags of thanks and a smile. Her pretty face and soulful eyes will always make you smile right back. India was exposed to a cat at the vet's office and didn't even look twice. She definitely perks up around other dogs and gives them a wag and shows how much she likes them, but in her usual gentle way. She would love to be in a home with another dog, but will do fine as a solo act and certainly is a great choice for a famly with kitties. India is good about sitting when asked to. She's great on the leash - not inclined to pull at all. She's housebroken and quiet. Things like going to the vet, giving her pills or cleaning her ears don't bother her at all. She is trusting and cooperative. Someone is going to find the girl of their dreams with this wonderful young girl. If you feel this gentle spirt is right for you, and you have been approved to adopt, please email donna@indilabrescue.org

| Charlene adopted!
Meet Charlene, a beautifulpurebred female Labrador who is simply drop dead gorgeous!!!! Charlene is 1 1/2 years old and a doll baby. This fox-red purebred beauty queen came to us awhile back VERY pregnant!!!! Needless to say all her puppies are healthy and weaned and will be ready for adoption shortly. Meanwhile Charlene would love to find her new forever home now! Charlene is a lovely girl. She adores people and is wonderful with children. She is not however, great with kitties. Interestingly she does quite well with her foster mom's chickens though!!! She is a true lover and very good girl in the house. She settles beautifully and is a medium energy Labrador who enjoys her walks and cuddle time. Charlene would do best in a home as your one and only true love or with another friends canine companion. She will do find with toddlers and little kids as she enjoys their company and is gentle. Charlene is a beautiful dog. She has a lovely block head and a gorgous coat. Her color is considered extremely desireable and uncommon in a Labrador too so she really is a show stopper. She sleeps nicely through the night and is totally housebroken. She is not destructive even though she really is still a puppy herself. Charlene is healthy, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She must be brought back to one of our vets for spay in another month at our expense. | Daisy 2 adopted!
Wow, talk about perfection! Meet Daisy, a truly well bred purebred Labrador. This yellow female purebred AKC Lab is a pretty girl with a beautiful face, and as far as looks go, it doesn't get any better. She is a nice size at about 65 pounds and what a lovely expression! Daisy is a youngster at about 1.5 years of age. But she is a mellow and easy going girl. She is really a gorgeous girl and the lovely easy going temperment we expect from our labbies. This perfectly well behaved, trained, and clearly well loved Labrador came to us from her owner who got very ill and could no longer care for Daisy. We were lucky enough to be in contact with the family of the owner and transported this girl across many miles to get her into our care to find her the best new forever home. Daisy is completely housebroken. She is a very easy going girl who is very well behaved with all the people she meets. She really enjoys being next to her foster mom - as we would expect from a typical lab. She will love a home where she will be a part of all the fun the family enjoys. She will want to be in the kitchen while you cook, in your bedroom when you sleep and in the family room when the family gets together. Daisy knows her commands and wants to please her person. She knows her commands of sit, lay down, come and heel! What a good girl she is. She is a good girl who settles perfectly inside after her exercise. She is non-destructive when left and will snuggle up on her doggie bed - never having even tried to get on the furniture in her foster home. Daisy walks well on leash, but can pull at times, so you just need to remind her to heel - as she does know the command. Daisy is a medium energy girl who does well with a good walk and then is settled for the day. She does very well with the labbie sister she is fostered. Daisy would do well as an only dog or with another submissive doggie companion in her home. Daisy likes to play fetch, but is not obsessive about it. She brings the ball back nicely and will gently let you take it from her. She is not mouthy or jumpy and therefore we feel might do well in a home with children, although only children over age 5 will be considered for this girl. We do not know how Daisy does around cats, so we will not look to place her in a home with them at this time. Daisy is healthy, up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. She is now just looking for her forever home. If you think Daisy is the girl for you, be sure to complete an application and then send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Della adopted!
Oh now who is this pretty peach of a Lab? It's Della...a darling, purebred retired breeder dog with a heart of gold! Della is a perfectly bred show quality 8 year young lovely lady and they honestly don't come much better. Della is a healthy girl with perfect conformation. Her jet black coat and burnt sugar eyes make her the belle of the ball. And she is a sweet as she is gorgeous with the nicest friendliest and playful temperament. Her foster mom says she is a joy to have. Della was retired from being shown and bred by her kennel and came to use ready to start her new life. She loves other dogs and all people. Knows her commands well and wants to please. She is crate trained and good in the car and she has a nice disposition with all she meets. Della is a medium energy girl. She is sound and healthy and can easily do a 3 mile or more hike if you want OR she can settle into a routine on just 1/2 an hour or so. She can be active and energetic when you want and a couch potato too. She's perfect for most families. Della is very good on leash at passing other dogs but she can sometimes pull al ittle on her leash. This will be remedied in the next day or two as her foster mom does training and will correct this. She corrects easily as she wants to please her person but she so enjoys her walks that she can sometimes pull just out of sheer joy and happiness. The pulling subsides naturally as you get going. Della is so pretty and healthy you would never know she was 8 years old. Her coat shines like glass and her eyes are clear and bright. She is sound and youthful and looks like a 4 year old. She has the calm and seasoned nature of her years mixed with the fun and health of a youngster. Her foster mom says whoever gets her will SCORE!!! Della sleeps though the night in her crate nicely. She is housebroken but like all new dogs can always make a mistake in a new house so her new owner need to show her the doggie door or where to go. Della is a pretty special girl. She will do great with another friendly canine companion or as your one and only. Della is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. If you feel this sweet prize of a Lab is right for you, please be sure you have been approved to adopt and then follow up with an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

| Hershey 3 adopted!
Are you ready for a 100% labby girl? If you are, then meet Hershey! This girl is a 3 year old Bench Bred chocolate female Lab and is so unbelievably CUTE! She’s an adorable English butterball (she could lose a few pounds), with the short little tank body and the sweetest dark brown eyes! Hershey is about 70 lbs and perhaps could lose about 5 lbs so she is very close to her perfect weight and is a nice size labbie! She’s a busy, silly, happy girl, and she takes that happiness everywhere she goes and gives it to everyone who glances her way! WAG WAG WAG! Hershey came into a tough, high-kill shelter. We couldn’t bear the thought of anything happening to her, because she’s just a perfect teddy bear of a lab. So we promptly rescued her so we could help find her a new forever home. Hershey loves loves to play ball - fetching over and over and over again. She also loves water and swimming! She even loves a bath! In fact, if you had a pool, she might just love you for life! She loves to eat. In fact, sometimes she loves her treats so much she's anxious to eat them before they are out of your hand, so she is learning to take treats "gently." She loves her dog toys. And she loves affection and attention! Hershey enjoys her walks! She knows she should stay right next to you when she walks but at times she gets so excited about her walk, she forgets and will pull a bit. Regardless, she corrects very easily and can be walked on her regular collar - no need for a training collar. She also does great in the car - just laying down in the back while you drive! Hershey is a medium energy girl - but is still a young lab at age 3, she does good daily exercise, but will settle well in the house after her exercise. She would love regular walks - perhaps even a jog or two here or there. Of course, playing in the kiddie pool and playing fetch are definitely her two favorite things! Hershey does really well with the two labbie girls she is fostered with and enjoys playing with her foster labbie sister - a 5 month old puppy. Although we think Hershey would love to be the only dog in her home - getting all the attention to herself - she likes to be in the center of the action - silly girl. If she is your one and only, trips to the dog park or play dates with friend's dogs might be great for her. She is not mouthy so we think she would likely do well with kids, but she is a wiggler, and can be jumpy too so probably best with children over 5 as she could definitely knock a toddler down. Hershey is your typical labby girl Hershey is spayed, up to date on all shots, and microchipped - she is now just looking for her forever home! If you think Hershey is the girl for you, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Skylar adopted!
Meet Skylar, a beautiful yellow purebred female Labrador of just 2 years. Skylar is just the sweetest girl. It's hard to believe we found her in a very high kill inland shelter! But there she was being adorable and sweet and so she is here with us now just waiting for her forever home. Skylar is a very nice dog. She is wonderful with other dogs and cats. Mostly she avoids cats. She gets along great with her foster sister who is a very dominant female Lab. Skylar loves carrying a toy in her mouth all over the house. She's a true retriever and she also loves to get the ball. She just loves to retrieve but is still learning the "leave it" command. She loves to walk around with her toy and make cute noises. Skylar loves her walks too. She can pull a little on the leash though so does her best with a pinch collar. She passes other dogs nicely and gets very happy and wiggly at walk time. Skylar is still a young dog and is a bit mouthy so no young children for her. She will do fine with kids over age 7 though so long as her family understands that mouthy labs do in fact mouth children and need correction and to be given toys to carry. Skylar is a typical adorable playful Labrador. She is drop dead gorgeous and has the sweetest temperament. Her new family will get the best dog. Skylar is still uncomfortable and insecure over losing her home and she has been doing some panting and pacing out of confusion. She generally settles down pretty quick but her new family will want to give her the time she needs to settle in and feel secure in her new home. She's a great choice for families with kitties! Skylar is healthy, up to date on vaccines, and spayed. If you feel this little sweetie is right for you, please be sure you have been approved to adopt and then follow up with an email to scartersoo@mac.com

| Mimi adopted!
Meet Mimi, a beautiful, calm, and, shy 5 year old female black Labrador! This shiny black girl has a heart of gold and is looking for a home committed to TLC as she continues to come out of her shell. Mimi came to us from a high kill shelter when her owners turned her in because they had to move and couldn’t include her in their plans. Mimi is a bit timid in new settings but has blossomed in her foster home. This beauty is a sweetheart in the house, just so calm and easy going and mellow. She settles in on her dog bed in her crate both day and night, although she loves the couch too. She’s a sucker for a belly rub or a back massage and ear rub. She is completely housebroken and non-destructive. Her foster mother loves how she crosses her front paws when relaxing. No counter-surfing at all, although she will try and convince you to share your snack. She moves from room to room with her foster mother, unless she’s sunning on the back deck at her foster home. She has a beautiful hunting instinct and spends a lot of time each morning intensely watching the squirrels in their backyard tree. Mimi is a mellow and easy going girl. She loves her walks but she is not a running partner. She is becoming a little more playful every day as she settles in her home. She is great in the care but needs help sometimes getting in as she can be shy. Once in, she settles in and she’s a great passenger. Mimi came to the shelter weighing 89 lbs, but she’s lost 8 lbs already and has her girlish figure back. She’s close to her ideal weight, if not already there. Like almost all middle aged Labs, she may have a little arthritis, so keeping her trim, and supplementing with glucosamine/chondroitin will help keep her active for many years to come. Mimi gets along great with the dogs she is fostered with and is learning to be more playful with them. She doesn't much like annoying loud hyper dogs and get be a little bit of a typical female with them sometimes being a tad bratty. But she does so well with calmer sweeter dogs. Mimi is not good with kittes so we will not place her with them. Mimi is healthy, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She is now just looking for her forever home with someone who will love her and work with her to overcome her fears. If you think this sweet girl is the dog for you, be sure to complete an application and then send an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

| Gavin adopted!
Meet Gavin, a butterball of a Lab with a smile to melt your heart. This purebred doll baby is as good as they come. At 4 years and just about 60 lbs he is a perfect Labrador in every way. Gavin is a special boy. Rescued off the streets in Taiwan, he is came to us from our rescue partner TUAPA who brought him here. His superior temperament and conformation made him a shoe-in candidate for our foster program. Gavin is a mild mannered gentleman. He is a prime candidate for therapy work and could easily certify for that with no problem. He is a gentle medium energy boy who loves his walks and other dogs. He loves cuddling and being with his people and he is incredibly tollerant and loving of little children. Gavin is a prince in the house. He is non-destructive and settles beautifully. Of course he is still learning about life in the land of loved doggies so occasionally will be unsure about loud noises or poeple throwing things, but honestly he is really pretty bomb proof at this point. Gavin walks beautifully on leash. He does not pulll at all and can be walked on 1 finger or even by a toddler. He passes other dogs beautifully. Even encounters with nasty dogs are no issue for this peacemaker. Gavin is a healthy boy. He has been snap tested for most parasitic diseases common in tropical climates and is heartworm negative. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He has been wormed and is current on flea control. He is recovering from a minor ear infection common to Labradors and is being treated for that. Gavin is a truly special dog. He deserves only the very best home. Cats, kids, and dogs welcome to be with Gavin! If you have already been approved and you think this boy is right for you, please be sure to follow up with an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

| Barnaby adopted!
Meet Barnaby, a darling 8 month old purebred white Lab puppy. Barnaby is adorable. Needless to say he will win your heart over with his cuteness in no time. He's on the large side for a puppy and will be a good 80 lbs or more at adult size. Barnaby is a wonderful dog. He loves all people, all dogs, and pretty much everything. He's a little afraid of cats but he seems to like them just fine. Barnaby is a puppy. No question about it. To that end he is looking for a committed home that will do maybe a nice puppy obedience class with him and certainly where they are prepared for a youngster! Puppies do best where someone is around much of the time at least in the beginning. This young boy would love a playful canine companion too or at least would love trips to dog park to socialize or other planned play dates. Barnaby is learning his leash skills and is doing great though he can sometimes pull quite a bit. He is crate trained and is not 100% on housebreaking yet but is getting there. He wants to please his person but he also loves ot have fun. Barnaby's new home must be well puppy proofed and have pleanty of doggie toys for him to enjoy to stay out of trouble. He loves to chew on bully sticks and will enjoy a peanut butter stuffed Kong as well. Cell phone, chargers, remote controls, wallet, and sunglassed should be well out of reach with this youngster around! He is still learning what toys are his and which our yours! This beautiful boy is quite stunning. He is an extremely well bred Labrador with outstanding conformation. Barnaby is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you feel this puppy is right for you, please be sure you are already approved to adopt and then follow up with an email to scartersoo@mac.com

| Cleatis adopted!
Meet Cleatis the beautiful 2 year old adorable purebred Labrador. Cleatis is fun and adorable guy with a beautiful face and head. We love this guy. Cleatis is a youngster. He came to use from a high kill shelter where they had him listed as age 5. At the time his coat looked bad and his skin was irritated. Pretty much no one noticed him as black dogs fade in into the background and often people cannot even see them in shelters. When we came though we saw a beautiful purebred Labrador that others had missed. It didnt' take long to decide that this dreamboat was coming home iwth us. Cleatis had a rough start out of the shelter. He was not that trusting of anyone and was scared. Over time howeve, this wiggle man has turned into a super fun, happy and adorable Labrador who just wants to love on everyone and be everyone's friend. At times though he reverts to his scardy cat mentality so we love to just let Cleatis be Cleatis and not push him too hard. Overall this guy is a hoot and really a lot of happy fun. Cleatis is very good with other dogs. He's a playful guy who gets along really great with other dogs. He likes his foster Labby sister quite a bit and is a great candidate for dog park and dog beach after he had bonded with his owner. Cleatis is good with older children as well. Young children he is too much for. But he seems fine with the 10 year old he lives with an really enjoys him. Since he was once not as trusting of people as he is now, we prefer any chldren be older and very gentle with him. Cleatis is fostered with 3 kitties. He loves one of them and is afraid of the other two. The one he likes he is very curious about and likes to sniff her. He's been wacked a couple of times. The other two cats are pretty dog savvy and a little mean to Cleatis so he give them a wide bearth. He's a good candidate for families with cats. Clearis is a medium energy Lab who is young. That means he needs his good daily exercise every day. He'd be a fabulous jogging partner and loves to hike as well. He's doing great on the leash and learning not to pull at all. Cleatis will do best with someone who has the time for a young dog. He's very smart and athletic meaning he will do best with a dog savvy owner who will train him. Very smart dogs always do best when well trained and handled by someone who is a good leader. Cleatis is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you feel this gorgous hunk of Labrador love is right for you, please be sure you have had your homecheck and then follow up with scartersoo@mac.com

| Kirby 2 adopted!
Meet Kirby 2! Look at this gorgeous show quality deep dark English boy! Kirby is a 4-5 year old chocolate male lab who is an english or bench bred boy. His head is like a big blocky chunk of labbie beauty. His face is so handsome with those sweet, sad brown eyes and the constant lab smile. He’s super jowly and got a big thick muzzle. He has a stalky body and is a heavier boy at about 85 pounds. Kirby came to us from a high kill shelter where he was in danger. His previous owners could no longer keep him, so they turned him into the shelter. Prior to bringing him to the shelter, his owners cut his hair (or shaved it down) on his back and torso to help reduce shedding they said. Any lab owner knows that labs shed regardless. The shorter hair on his back will grow back to a full lab coat in no time. And it is actually better for labs to have their full coat - even through summer. Their coat keeps them warm in winter, and keeps them protected from the sun in summer. Kirby is great with all other dogs and cats too! He is fostered with another male and female chocolate lab and he does great with both of them! He does play with his foster labbie brother at times, but he does not need a constant playful companionship. Kirby may show an interest in cats, but doesn't want to chase them and wouldn't harm a kittie. For this reason, we think he would be a good choice for a family with cats. Kirby is completely housebroken and trustworthy left in the house. He has good manners at home, no counter surfing. Although he would love to sleep on your bed with you if you allow him. His foster mom doesn't allow this, so he spends his nights on a doggie bed in the bedroom where he does very well. Kirby loves the water! When he drinks he puts his muzzle in up to his eyes and his jowls flap around in the water - silly boy! He even likes to try to get in the big tall buckets of drinking water at his foster mom’s house. He blows bubbles in the water dish. While we haven't seen Kirby at the beach or in a pool, we think his love of water will easily transfer to a pool or doggie beach or any water activities you do. Kirby is a velcro dog (like most labbies) so he will follow you everywhere. He follows his foster mom into every different room throughout the day. For this reason, he would likely do best in a home where his people are not gone very long hours every day as he really enjoys being with his person. He might even enjoy going to work with you, if your office allows. Kirby has an amazing temperament, sweet, loving, eager to please, loves other dogs, children and all adults. He’s intelligent, sensitive and wants you to be happy. He already does sit and comes to his name. He does pull on leash, and he is a strong boy, so he is best walked with a pinch collar, but after a block or so, generally walks pretty nicely. Kirby does like to bolt out an open door, although once he bolts out, he doesn't go anywhere, he just stands there or walks around the front yard. However, it is not safe for a dog to bolt out a door, so his foster mom is working hard on correcting this behavior. His new family will need to continue to work on this so that he learns to stay when a door is opened until he is invited through. Kirby is a medium energy boy who will enjoy daily exercise such as walks, dog beach, dog park, or even a hike. But after his exercise, he settles well in the house. Kirby can be a little mouthy, so children over age 7 are likely best for this big boy. Kirby is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. So if think this is the boy for you, please fill out an application and then follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Tanner 2 adopted!
Meet our new friend Tanner! Tanner is a really, really well bred English (or Bench Bred) purebred AKC male yellow Labrador. He's 4 years old and is a wiggle butt! He has a big old blocky head, a stocky Labrador body, and the sweetest face ever in the whole world. Tanner is a good sized boy at about 85 lbs, although he could lose a few pounds on his stalky frame - ideally being 75 lbs at his ideal weight. He is a true Labby lover - just the way we like 'em! Tanner came to us from his owner who could no longer keep him. He was purchased from a breeder at just 8 weeks old and his family took great care of him. Unfortunately his human family had a tragic death in their family and Tanner must now find a new home. Tanner is good with other dogs, cats and kids too! He was raised in a family with young toddlers so he has learned to be tolerant of all that little boys can do to a lovely labbie. Tanner would be a great choice for a family with children of any age. He also lived in a home with a cat, so is a fabulous choice for a family with cats as well. Tanner is housebroken and is comfortable and experienced in using a doggie door to have indoor and outdoor access throughout the day. He knows his commands of sit and down and is an overall goofy, labbie boy. Tanner's family did have a pool, although they said Tanner never went swimming. Tanner is a big boy who does pull on leash, so he could best be walked on a pinch collar or other training collar until he learns his leash manners of heeling next to his person. He is a true english labbie who does not require much exercise. A couple walks a day and playtime in the backyard would be great for this boy. He settles really well after his morning walk. Tanner spent most of his life with a labbie sister the same age, so he would do great with another submissive doggie companion or as your one and only. He is not that playful with other dogs, but would enjoy their companionship. Although we think Tanner will likely do just fine as an only dog provided you are not gone 8 hours/day every day. Tanner is just a big goofball - just look at his face! What fun and joy this boy will bring to one lucky family! Tanner is a very healthy boy who is ready for a wonderful loving family who will treasure him. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you think Tanner is the boy for you, be sure to complete an application and send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Buffy adopted!
Meet Buffy, a darling therapy quality, black female Labrador of 4 years old with an adorable smiley face and a lovely disposition! Buffy is a slight mix (with golden retriever) but is very, very labby looking and with superior temperament. If you are looking for a cat and toddler friendly, mellow, GENTLE, calm and pretty close to perfect dog, you have found her here. Buffy is the best. Buffy is a medium sized girl at just about 80 lbs, although. she can afford to lose a few pounds. She should be closer to 70 pounds at her ideal weight. Buffy came to us from his owner who could no longer keep her. She was rescued from a high kill shelter at just 8 weeks old and her family took great care of her - she was truly saved by them. Unfortunately her human family had a tragic death in their family and Buffy must now find a new home. Buffy is a little sensitive to having lost her home. She is a little shy and timid at first, and definitely a submissive girl. She will need some time in her new home - with lots of love and affection so she knows has found her forever home. Buffy is a mellow and easy going girl. She is not a running partner and is more of a walking buddy. She loves her walks and does wonderfully without pulling and passing other dogs nicely. She might enjoy a mellower hike if you like. She would even enjoy dog park as well although she won't really play with other dogs. This beauty is a sweetheart in the house, settles in and snuggles on her dog bed through the night. She is completely housebroken and non-destructive. In her previous home she lived with a doggie door and regular access to inside the house and the yard throughout the day. Buffy is wonderful with all other dogs and cats too! In her previous home she lived with a cat, so we know she would be a great choice for a family with cats. Buffy is not a huge player - not big on fetching or toys, but is more of a lover, snuggler, smiler and wiggler. Buffy is so lovely you can even take her to work where she would snuggle at your feet under your desk. She would do well in a home with another doggie companion or as your one and only as long as you are not gone long hours every day. She came from a home with another dog, so she is accustomed to having companionship all the time. Buffy was raised in a home with children, so she would also be a great choice for a family with children of all ages! She is pure sweetness, gentle and kind. She is not mouthy or jumpy and is well mannered with all humans. Buffy is healthy, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She is now just looking for her forever home. If you think this sweet girl is the dog for you, be sure to complete an application and then send an email indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Serina adopted!
This is Serina, sheer perfection in a little labbie. She is the ideal dog – loves everyone, playful and young but mellow, and BEAUTIFUL to boot. Serina is a purebred Labrador Retriever female of about 2 years. She is an english, bench-bred lab of perfect size at 60 pounds. Just look at this girl! She is astoundingly beautiful! He has a beautiful head and a stocky She still has her dew claws, but she is a purebred with almost perfect conformation. She definitely has the adorable, shorter tank body of the English labs. One look into those adorable, deep brown eyes, and you’ll be in love! The best part is this girl is that her good looks are just a small part of her appeal! This pretty girl came into the shelter with her sister - another purebred chocolate female lab who will be made available soon. We are shocked these 2 girls ended up in the shelter as they are sheer perfection! We are so happy to have both of them. Serina is a pretty mellow girl who loves affection. She is a gentle, calm girl who also has some fun, playful energy. She loves her doggie toys - especially the soft, squeaky ones. She hopped in the car from the shelter and immediately put a toy in her mouth. She is not destructive, but she can be found carrying shoes around in her mouth at her foster home, silly girl. She is affectionate and sweet but not demanding. She wags her tail and sits up next to you for some love and will give you kisses right back. Serina needs little exercise - a couple walks a day, some play time in the backyard, but no need for lots of exercise for this girl. She settles beautifully and quickly. She will lay outside on the patio, or even spend time in her crate with the door open. She is not destructive or a chewer, but she does like toys if you have some. She’s not a whiner or a barker - in fact she's a pretty quiet girl! And she is housebroken - having no accidents in her foster home. She does know her commands of sit and down, and is not mouthy or jumpy. She is good with other dogs - enjoying the female labbies she is fostered with. The ideal home for Serina would be almost any home in which she can be treated like the queen she is! She will do fine as your one and only (provided you are not gone 8 hours/day every day) or with another doggie companion. Serina is even good with cats - she gives a wide berth to the cats she has met! She will do fine with children as well. Serina is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. If you think this is the girl for you, be sure to complete an application and send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Red (puppy) adopted!
Meet Red! Red is an adorable purebred chocolate Lab puppy. He's just 9 months old and is the son of Bruce (also available for adoption). Red's adorableness is a result of a young Bruce jumping the fence to be "friendly" with the next door neighbors purebred chocolate female Labrador. (Yet another reason not to wait to alter our Labradors!). Bruce is a purebred English Lab and Red's mommy is a petite chocolate more American Lab. The result is our in-betweener Red the wonder pup! Red comes to us from the same loving owner who brought us Bruce. As previously stated, the family had found themselves in a situation which prevented them from keeping the boys. Though devastated, their owner wanted the best for Red and his papa and we promised them we would only choose the very best home in the world for each of these deserving sweet hearts. Red is a typical Labby puppy - happy, bright, wants to please, and likes to have a wiggling good time. He's wonderful with all dogs and amazing with kids. Though he is tolerate with toddlers, he is probably best suited to a home with older children so that the most amount ot attention can go to him for his training and love. After all, he is a youngin' and as such we want him to grow to be the best dog he can be! Red has a lovely Labrador temperament. He is amazing with ALL people, ALL dogs, and good about sharing toys and food. He's also doing great on leash though he can pull. After all he is still learning. His new owners should do a nice puppy or beginning obedience class with him to learn the basics. Red will surely be the star of the class. He needs plenty of exercise as all Lab puppies do and he would love another friendly canine companion if you are to be away from home much. Red should go to dog park and dog beach to continue his socialization with other dogs since he is doing so well. Currnetly still on the smaller side, Red will grow to be a medium sized Labrador. He has an easy going calm demenor under his puppy personality and he will grow up to be a medium energy adult. However at this time he is still a puppy so lots of activity! Red is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you are approved and feel that you have the time, patience, and energy for a puppy, please contact IndiLabGirl@gmail.com

| Lorna adoption pending!
Introducing Miss Lorna! Lorna is a show-quality Lab. She is a stunningly gorgeous purebred white English female of just about 75 lbs. and 3 years. She is a medium sized bench bred Lab with a nice head and perfect otter tail. She really is a pretty little thing! Lorna came to us from a very high kill Inland Valley shelter the same day we found Mullin. Both dogs came home with us the same day! Lorna is a sweet wiggly girl. She loves every person she meets and is very velcro. She loves to be with her person. She is a very loving little gal! Lorna is great with other dogs but tends to be a tad dominant. She'll do great with almost any dog and in the home she just likes to be the first lady and then makes firends with all the other dogs. See her video below. She loves other dogs but just wants to be the most populat. She does wonderfully with at least 9 other dogs she has met and is doing great in her foster home with Mulligan, a former Indi Lab male Lab. Lorna settles beautifully in the house after her exercise. She is a medium energy Lab and loves her walks. She needs a nice walk once or twice a day and she settles nicely inside. She is not destructive and is trustworthy in the house. Lorna will do great with kids age 5 and over. She wiggles a lot and probably will knock toddlers over. Lorna is a darling girl. She's a show quality girl who is a show stopper as people pass her. | Candy 2 adopted!
Meet Candy, a darling 1 year old yellow female purebred Labrador. Candy is a smaller gal at only about 55 pounds and has a pretty face and beautiful yellow color. Candy is a medium energy Labrador who is great with all other dogs and loves people. She is pretty mellow for a one year old girl, but she is still a puppy in Lab years, so she will need a home where her new owner will provide good daily exercise and some additional training. Candy came to us when her family turned her into the a high-kill shelter because they were moving. We were notified about her plight so we immediately planned to rescue her. Candy has wonderful temperament and great potential. She is completely housebroken and never even had one accident in her foster home. She is really a pretty gentle girl with calm temperment. Candy does really well on leash - rarely pulling, but also responds really well to correction when needed. Candy does great with other dogs - she sometimes just ignores other dogs, so would likely do well in a home with or without another doggie companion. Candy loves her person and would enjoy lots of affection from her new family. In fact, she loves to be brushed - it might just be her favorite thing ever! Candy is a sensitive girl who is a little tentative in new environments. It is possible Candy was hit at some point in her previous home as she does startle and sometimes duck with quick movements towards her. For this reason, we think Candy will do best in a home with children over age 9. Candy is a very healthy girl who is up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. Now all she needs is her forever home! If you think this is the girl for you, be sure to complete an application and then send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Alan adopted!
Meet Alan, a beautiful purebred black male Labrador Retriever of about 1 year. Just a youngster and very adorable! Allen is a goofy boy with an adorable darling personality. He came to us from one of the high kill county shelters, and was so loved by staff that they neutered him before he was adopted which is highly unusual since most unadopted dogs are euthanized. Alan adores children and is very calm and patient with them though toddlers might be too young for this young boy. Children over age 5 are best. He is enjoying the 8 year old boy he is fostered with. Alan likes other dogs and enjoys playing with them. He loves his toys as is evident from his pictures, almost always carrying at least one in his mouth in true retriever fashion. He needs to work at sharing soft toys better with other dogs. He does great with balls as his foster Labby sister generally always gets it first. He is frightened of his foster moms cats and give them a wide walk around, but he also barks at them so we would recommend a home without kitties even though he may be fine with them in time. Alan is doing great learning his leash manners. He tends to pull but responds to correction and his foster mom is working with him to do an even better job. After all he is a young boy and has much to learn. So far he seems to want to please! He is beautifully crate trained, and loves his crate, going into it even if he hasn't been told to. It's like his little house and he really enjoys it. This makes Alan an easy young dog to train and have in the house - especially when you must be out for a bit. He can safely be contained in his crate if needed. Alan will sit endlessly for pats, and loves hugs and kisses and tons of attention. Alan will do beautifully with another friendly canine companion or as your one and only. Though he is young, so long days alone may require more exercise at first or a doggie buddy or even a dog walker at times might be nice. He's a beautiful and sweet purebred certain to make his new owner very happy. Alan is a very healthy good-looking purebred who is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. All that's needed now is a wonderful forever home. If you think this sweet boy is for you and you have been approved to adopt, follow up with an emial to scartersoo@mac.com to meet Alan.

| Bonnie Blue adopted!
Meet Bonnie Blue, the sweetest, gentlest girl. Bonnie is a cute 1 year old ( in April) purebred female yellow Labrador. She is just 50 lbs and petitie and should be closer to 60 lbs at, which is still a smaller size for a lab! Bonnie Blue is a darling girl. She is a beautiful girl with burnt sugar eyes, and a gentle, calm temperment. She is a submissive and calm girl and is currently on the shy side as she is getting used to the outside world after living her life in a kennel. She spends a lot of time in her crate by choice at her foster home. She is beautifully crate trained and loves to sleep in her crate at night too. Bonnie is great around other dogs both big and small. She is fostered with another female labbie and the two get along very well. She has also spent time with some other labbie friends. She enjoys her time with other dogs and in fact the other dogs help her to come out of her shell. Bonnie likes her walks and walks perfectly on leash. She never pulls and passes other dogs beautifully. She can be timid and fearful in the outside world - just learning what fun the world has to offer for her. Bonnie is a medium energy girl who will do well with a couple walks a day. Spending time with other dogs is also great for her, so trips to dog park or dog beach would also be great for this sweet girl. Bonnie will do best with a family who will give her time to come out of her shyness but will not baby her. Her forever family will need to understand that it may take Bonnie a couple months to become less timid. A family that will build trust with her and will take her to new places and help introduce her to a world that she has never experienced and can show her how much fun it can be will be great for her. Bonnie is almost 100% housebroken, but should be watched at first in her new home. Bonnie is non-destructive when left alone. We would like to place her in a home with another friendly dog who is well adjusted to the world so she can learn from him/her how many exciting things the world has to offer! She could do well as an only dog as long as her family will spend lots of time with her nurturing her Bonnie will do ok with children however she is still very shy so it may be a lot to ask her to deal with the noise and motion of young children. Children over age 7 will be considered. Bonnie Blue is a healthy girl who is up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. If you think this is the girl for you, be sure to complete an application and send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Maya 3 adopted!
Meet Maya 3, a darling AKC registered purebred female. Maya is a pretty yellow girl of 5 years and is as sweet as they come. She comes with her pedigree. Though she is a purebred lab, she has a slight curl to her tail. But we think it is adorable and makes her even more darling!!! What a dream girl she is. Maybe is wonderful with all people and all dogs. She loves everyone and every dog she meets. Walking her is such a pleasure as she passes other dogs so nicely and says hello to everyone. Maya has a known history with little children and toddlers, therefore we can adopt her into a home with little ones. We do not know about cats so no kitties for Maya. Maya is a chunky girl at about 85 lbs. She really should be more like 75 lbs. Her new family should plan on doing nice walks with Maya and keeping her food to a mininum to continue her weigh loss routine. In the meantime there is just more Maya to love. Her new owners must be careful not to overdo it with Maya as she loses weight. Maya is housebroken and non-destructive in the home. She is not a chewer or barker at all. She is very relaxed in the house and settles beautifully. Maya LOVES her walks more than anything. When you get her leash she gets very excited. She also loves swimming. She will adore a kiddie pool if you don't have a real pool and loves going to dog beach. If you are looking for a water dog, this one is it! Maya came to us when her owner was no longer able to care for her in the manner in which she had always been cared for. Her former family loved Maya very much and took excellent care of her. Maya especially loved the 2 little children in the home and they adored her as well. We are looking for a wonderful, dream forever home for Maya. We promised her former mom that we would only pick the best of the best for this special girl. We anticipate a lot of interest in Maya since she is so good with little kids. Please understand that we will look at who is best for Maya first and then at how long families have been waiting to adopt. Maya is spayed, up to date on vaccination, and healthy. If you think this sweet girl is right for you, please be sure you are already approved to adopt and then follow up with an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

| Roxy 6 adopted!
Meet Roxy, a 10 month old purebred chocolate girl. This puppy is a playful fun gal with tons of love to share! Roxy came to us when her family lost their home. It was hard for them to say goodbye to this good girl, but they wanted what was best for her given that their lives had changed and they were no longer able to keep Roxy. This sweetie is still a puppy who needs plenty of dog park to play with other dogs, and lots of fun acitivites. She loves to please and is a joy to be with. Her new owners will want to provide continued training and socialization and also lots of exercise as all young Labs require. Since she is still a pup, she is still mouthy and probably is best not placed with young children. She will do great with older children however and seems to really like kids and all people! Rosy loves other dogs and she met her first kitty today, and now gives them a wide berth, although she'd probably chase one if it ran. She seems to generally like cats and will ignore them or even be timid around them unless she thinks they will be playful and will certainly chase a cat who allows that. Roxy is learning her leash manners and so far is staying right along side her foster mom. Her foster mom is giving her leash lessons as she had terrible leash manners on her arrival. In true Labby fashion, Roxy loves to chase a ball and retrieve! Roxy also loves to play with her foster's very dominant female and is happy to be the submissive girl. She isn't a barker, and only barks when there is something to bark about, or when she is trying to get your attention. Roxy knows her commands and sits and shakes. Roxy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and looking for her new forever home! If you are approved and ready to adopt a young darling and fun active Lab, please shoot an email to scartersoo@mac.com

| Mullin adopted!
Meet Mullin! Mullin is a darling yellow male Lab of 4-5 years old. Mullin is at a perfect weight of 80 pounds and is a golden yellow or fox red color. Mullin is pretty close to perfect! He has a gorgeous blocky head and is at his perfect weight of 80 pounds. Just look at his beautiful face! Mullin came to us from one of the highest kill shelters in California. We met this sweet boy and knew instantly that he was coming home with us! He gets along great with other dogs! He rode in the car from the shelter with another female labbie and the two got along great together! And Mullin gets along great with his foster labbie sister too! Mullin is completely housebroken and overall a pretty mellow boy. He loves to just lay next to his foster mom, sometimes prefers the chair or the couch, and does not need his crate at all. He is non-destructive when left alone too! Mullin also has some great training! He knows how to sit, lay down, and knows stay all on command - what a smart boy! Someone spent some time training this boy, so his new family will benefit from his knowledge! Mullin is a little mouthy when he takes treats, but is learning from his foster mom to take treats more gently. Mullin pulls on leash a little bit, but corrects well. With just a little more training, he will learn to walk right next to his person really well. With some great training and his mellow temperment, Mullin is a great choice for many families. He will do great with another doggie companion, or as your one and only boy. Mullin is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He is now just looking for his forever home. If you think Mullin is the boy for you, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com
