| Duke 6 adopted!Meet Duke, a gorgeous, gentle, and extremely beautiful purebred AKC registered male. He is a 6 years old and he is perfect in every way. Duke is a large chocolate Lab who is a mellow, easy going boy with a heart of cold. And to look at him now, you would never imaging his sad story or what he looked like when we got him. Duke came to us from his owners who didn't want him anymore. When he arrived to us, he was missing almost all of his fur, including the fur on his face. He has massive ear and eye infections and open sores all over his body. He was a dog no other rescue would take and he was what we call a "long term foster dog" meaning we know we would have him awhile to get him in shape. Duke was wildly allergic to the crappy cheap food his owners had been feeding him. Most Labs cannot process grain and some are exteremely allergic to it. In Dukes case the food was not only making him allergic, is was of such poor quality that he was suffering from a compromized immune system too. With medicated baths, a species appropriate raw food diet, raw coconut oil, cold pressed fish oil, and a lot of love, Duke started to look better in a pretty short while and we know we could heal him from the inside out!!! It's been 2 months and Duke is healed. He has a gorgeous dark chocolate coat, shiny as can be, pearly white teeth, bright eyes, and is so stunning you cannot walk him down the street without people stopping to comment on his beauty. Duke must be fed a grain free diet. High quality grain free food is imperative for Duke. Even better is raw food or Honest Kitchen or Stella and Chewys. However any high quality grain free food will be fine. Duke is a trained dog now. After 2 months in the best foster home, he knows his commands perfectly and can be walked on leash like a show dog. He is housebroken without any chance of error. He is trustworthy in the house, rides perfectly in the car and is absolutely bombproof with other dogs. Duke loves other dogs. Especially sweet friendly playful dogs. Duke is mellow as the day is long, but he still loves to play at dog park and has a lot of friends he wrestles and chases around. He will bark at a dog to entice them to play and he can play with the smallest Chihuaha gently. This is a GREAT best friend dog. He is calm as they come when you want to hang out at home but he can do a 6 mile hike like nothing with you too. He is the perfect mix of fun and easy and he looks fabulous in bandanas! Duke is on the large side for a lab at 100 lbs. He is a gentle giant. He is easier than most petite Labs due to his training, perfect temperament and mellow calm nature. Duke's only shortcoming is that he is a counter surfer and so his new home will want to put away any food. Most Labs counter surf in general which is why it's never a good idea to leave out food on counters. Duke is a healthy boy who is neutered, and up to date on vaccines. If you think this beauitful darling boy is right for you, and you are homechecked and approved, please email donna@indilabrescue.org

| Tilly Chestler adopted!
Meet Tilly Chestler, a pale yellow purebred female Lab puppy of 13 weeks. She will wrap you around her paws and steel your heart in seconds.
Tilly Chestler came to us from a high kill Los Angeles County shelter where we immediately realized someone had left a purebred Labrador puppy. Surprised, we noticed straight away that she had an eye condition called entropion, where her eyelids turn inward causing great discomfort. This is easy to fix with a good surgeon but is expensive and we knew that the typical clientelle at this particular shelter would not see to it that this necessary surgery was done. After speaking with both our vet and the shelter vet, we agreed that the only way Tilly would get what she needed was if she came with us. It is entirely possible that someone bred a litter and dumped her realizing she could not be sold with her eye condition. Tilly was given a thorough exam at our vet and he feels (and we agree), that at only about 3 months of age, Tilly is still too young to have entropion surgery. We decided to find this girl a forever home where her family can bring her back to our vet when she is 5-6 months old for her entropion surgery at our cost and in the meanwhile she can enjoy bonding with her family and enjoying life.
Tilly is just 25 adorable puppy pounds. She will probably grow to be about 65 as an adult at 2 years. But that is a long time away and for now this little girl just wants to have fun, play, sleep a lot, and chew everything in sight.
Tilly will need a puppy approved home for her safety as well as the safety of your shoes, cell phones, remote controls, and everything else little Lab puppies love to play with. This includes a crate to safely contain her when you cannot pay attention and to continue her potty training which she is perfect at so far. Positive potty reinforcement is necessary including using a crate and praising when she does her potty outside.
Tilly will need lots of doggie socialization and play time with other dogs. She will also need a puppy obedience class. Both of these things should happen only AFTER Tilly's family provides her the last set of puppy shots. She has had her first 2 sets of puppy shots but require one more set when she is 16 weeks old in order to be fully immunized.
Tilly is just a joy and a whole lot of Labby fun. But no matter how adorable this puppy is, she will grow into a big wiggly and playful Lab in no time so families need to consider the puppy commitment and the lifelong commitment before considering adopting this girl.
Tilly is microchipped and has had her first 2 rounds of puppy shots. Her new owners will need to continue her immunization protocol and have her spayed at 6 months of age providing us with a spay certificate per our adoption contract.
Her new owners will need to be fully committed to keeping Tilly in her ecollar (cone) after surgery at ALL times until her sutures come out to ensure the sucess of her delicate surgery.

| Sir Jake adopted!
Meet Sir Jake, a beautiful, purebred AKC registered white English Labrador just over 5 years. He is a stocky boy with a beautiful block head and a nice thick otter tail. He is bred to show conformation and is quite a nice looking boy.
Sir Jake is an exceptional dog. He is adorable. He has the nicest personality and loves everyone he meets. He is the typical Labrador you think of loving to carry his teddy bear or pillows or towels or anything else in his Labby soft mouth. But he is gentle and does not destroy anything.
Sir Jake is wonderful with all other dogs and cats. He basically ignores cats making him a great choice for families with kitties.
Sir Jake loves his walks and dog park. He likes to say hi to everyone. He is a mellow easy going medium to lower energy Labrador.
This guy knows "sit", "down", "shake" and "stay". He likes to please you! Sometimes though he can't "stay" becuase he want to come get more pets.
Really, Sir Jake is about the most perfect dog. He just has no issues and he is the happiest guy around. He loves to play with toys and he may mistake childrens toys for dog toys so his new home should provide lots of dog boys for him!
He's mellow but he does need his dog park and fun with other dogs.
Sir Jake is a healthy boy and is neutered, up to date on vaccines and ready for love.

| Mary Jane adopted!
Meet Mary Jane, (aka Mary Moo) a perfect, beautiful, purebred Golden Retriever female of about 4-5 years. She is a lovely size at about 60lbs and is pure golden love.
Mary Moo is an amazing dog, so perfect; friendly with all people, young and old, she loves all other dogs, particularly the young boys and just gets on with everyone. Her foster dad takes her to dogpark every day and she is a little social butterfly, prancing about in her happy manner, greeting all and smilng the whole time.
Mary Jane is a very calm and easy girl at home. She'll hang out and follow you around, happy to be where you are, happy to try to make you happy. She is not destructive or troublesome at all.
She is still a young Golden and needs her dailey exercise each day. Currently she goes on a daily dog park outing or gets a nice long walk every day. This makes her happy and she is just perfection afterwards.
Mary Jane is great on a leash. She is very curious about everything and just loves her walks. She will pass other dogs nicely and is a pleasure to be with. She has learned her commands of "sit" and "stay" and is eager to learn more!
She doesn't bark excessively, just at strangers in a "hello how are you" way. She's a very polite eater..sometimes she'll just eat laying down, and she shares everything with her doggie friends. She truly has a heart of gold.
When we first found this girl, she was matted and covered in ticks and fleas. She was so matted, she had to be shaved which we feel so sad about. A pretty Golden should never lose their gorgeous coat! But her hair is already growing back and when fully feathered, she'll be a beautiful copper color, the envy of all.
She would be happy as an only dog, provided she's kept active and stimulated with park and walks but we think she would do best with another dog because she is exceptionally social. She'll cuddle up with another dog instantly, anxious to make friends.
Mary Jane defines "sweetheart"!!! In fact, if you look up "sweetheart" in the dictionary there's a picture of our sweet Mary Jane. She has a face that will captivate you and make you smile, all the time.
She's an easy easy dog, happy-go-lucky one might say. A PERFECT companion, a sweet natured golden angel. Anyone who adopts this dolly will be so happy to have found the perfect fur-ever family dog.
Mary Jane is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations and ready to meet her perfect fur-ever home.

| Rocco 2 adopted!
Meet Rocco 2, a happy black Lab male of just under 1 year of age. This guy is a super sweet boy who is a nice smaller size of about 65 pounds for a male lab. He is only 10 months old, but is already a nice, gorgeous boy.
Rocco came to us from his owners who got him as a puppy, made sure he got all his shots, and got him neutered at 6 months old. But unfortunately over time his owners found themselves more focused on children's activities and Rocco spent all his time in the backyard without much family interaction. His family decided it was best to help Rocco find a home he deserved with a family that will give him the love and attention he desires.
Rocco has a gorgeous black shiny coat and is a nice handsome boy. He is a true beauty but his looks are only part of what makes Rocco such a great Labrador. He has outstanding temperament and is such a lover.
Rocco can be a bit scared and shy at first, but will warm up to you quickly and his happy labby personality comes out. The more his new family continues to socialize him by taking him to lots of places, the more comfortable he will become - of course he is still a youngster.
Rocco is a young Lab who will need good daily exercise. He is good with other dogs and would love to go to dog park with you for play dates. He will do great with another playful friendly canine companion too.
Rocco is almost completely housebroken and good in the house. But he is young and loves his toys, so his new family will want to remember that he is still a lab puppy and could still select the wrong item to chew on, so perhaps a nice crate for him when his family leaves him at home would be best.. His new home should have lots of nice toys for him, and especially chew toys like nylabones, rawhides, kongs and the like.
Rocco is your typical labbie boy who when excited will try to jump up on you. He is easily corrected, and will learn quickly with a gentle hand. He will do great with children, but may be a little too wiggly for tiny toddlers even though he will love them. He lived in a home with a young toddler and did great with him, although he does get playful and knock him down at times.
Rocco is very, very sweet. He is a real lover and adores all people. He likes to give kisses and lay his head in your lap. He is a submissive boy who would love a confident loving family to will continue to involve him in all the fun activities labs love to do.
Rocco will do best in a home where he will get the good daily exercise all young Labs need and also trips to dog park and dog beach to meet and play with other dogs. Rocco is a medium energy boy and is everything we look for in our Labs. He is good on leash and walks wonderfully right beside you. He is also a good car rider. He knows his commands of sit, and would love to learn more with his new family.
Rocco is healthy, neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and current on flea control.

| Tillman adopted!Meet Tillman, the sweetest Lab puppy around. This less than one year old purebred chocolate kiss is a really, really, really good boy and we jsut adore him. Already housebroken and learing his commands, this pound puppy is a star in the making! Tillman came to us from a very high kill county shelter. He was scared there and confused and we are fortunate that the day he arrived a volunteer saw him and was able to ensure his safety and get him out. Tillman
is long and lean and a loving machine. Just look at those big puppy paws, and bedroom eyes. He is the cutest purebred chocolate Labrador.
His previous owner did not buy Tillman toys or balls. We can tell becuase when he arrived he had no idea what to do with a toy! His foster mom is teaching him that he should have his own things. All Labrador deserve their own bed, balls, toys, and treats. Tillman is very low maintenance just now learning about the finer things, like a good grain free diet.
Anyone who adopts this boy is super lucky. He is past the chewing shoes & up at night puppy phase. Tillman is house broken and completely nondestructive. But this young boy still has many firsts to experience.
Tillman has a little puppy energy but settles nice in the house. He is crate trained and sleeps there through the night. He is just learning what it is to have your very own bed. He has good house manners and does not jump up on any furniture.
This boy loves the yard almost as much as the house. Birds beware; this puppy would love to retrieve you. Tillman thinks making new dog friends is super exciting. His new owner will need to continue to work on his social manners. He knows sit, but still needs practice with his other commands. This boy is not very talkative he almost never barks. He rides well in the car.
Tillman will make a good jogging companion if that is your thing. If not a nice long walk everyday and a trip to the beach or park a few times a week works. Currently he pulls on the leash, which is an easy fit and he is getting much, much better! This is a work in progress and his new owners will need to continue training but his calm temperament and desire to please make training this youngster a breeze. Tillman is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

| Ramona adopted!
Meet Ramona, a happy and sweet fox red female Labrador of just under 1 year old. She is a nice size lab at about 45 pounds, although she is a puppy, so she still has some growing to do. We expect her to be about 65 pounds when she is full grown.
She has the sweetest face and beautiful black eyeliner, a black button nose and is just a cuddly bundle of perfect adorableness!
Ramona is a darling rare fox red girl with a sweet face and equally sweet disposition. She loves everyone and has a nice loving energy about her. She loves affection from people and will sit up right next to you for pets. She gives lots of kisses and enjoys being near you. Like all labs, she will follow you from room to room to be near you.
Ramona is great with other dogs and loves going to dog park too! She gets along well with her foster sisters very well too. She would do really well in a home with another doggie companion. She could be your one and only, but only if you are not gone a lot as she really likes the company of her humans or another dog.
Ramona is a low to medium energy girl who enjoys her walks and playtime, but also settles down very nicely in the house and at bedtime. However, keep in mind that she is still a puppy - as all labs are until age 2, so she will need more exercise and attention until that time. She walks pretty well on leash - tugging at times, but corrects well. She also knows how to sit! She is still learning her other commands, but loves her treats, so some additional training with her should be easy. Unfortunately Ramona enjoys chasing kitties a lot, so no cats for Ramona in her new home.
Ramona is completely housebroken. She is still a young girl, so ensuring she gets her daily exercise like any young lab is important. She would enjoy fun things like hikes, walks, dog park and more. Ramona is a sweet, gentle girl, so we believe she would do well with children. However, we would prefer kids over age 7. This pretty girl is a lovely sweet companion and will bring much joy to that family fortunate enough to adopt her.
Ramona is a healthy girl who is up to date on shots, and spayed and microchipped.

| Oslo adopted!Meet Oslo, a handsome black male Labrador. This beauty is about 2 years old and couldn't be a more adorable fella. Oslo is a young strapping boy who is a good boy in the house but playful outside, loves his toys and love his walks! Oslo came to us from a local very high kill shelter where he was in danger of euthanasia. It's not too hard to see why we grabbed this prize! He is just a love bug. He's a nice size for a male lab at about 85 pounds and is just a lovable boy! Oslo is doing great in his foster home. He is very good with the dominant female lab he is fostered with. In fact, he is good all other dogs and of course adores people! He is a gentle, easy going boy who takes everything in stride - not at all phased by any of it! This youngster is not a big barker and only barks to say hello to other dogs. He does love his walks and gets excited when the leash comes out! Oslo is a young dog. He will need his exercise, dog park, dog beach, and lots of walks. He pull on the leash. This is an easy fix with a little practive with his owners. You can use a gentle leader or pinch collar and work with him a bit. He loves his walks. Oslo will also do fine with children. He's big and wiggly at times so could for sure knock a toddler over. Any Lab will do that. And any Lab is opportunistic when it come to snacks, so families with little ones must consider this. But overall he is great with the children he is fostered with and all the other children he has met. Oslo needs a nice walk every day or dog park. He's a young boy with a lot of fun in him. He's a great dog. Oslo is even doing ok with the cats but will chase a cat that runs, so dog savvy cats are probably best for this boy. Oslo will do fine as an only dog or with another doggie companion. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. All he needs now is a family to call his own! If you would like to add this lovely boy to your home, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to scartersoo@me.com

| Cassie and Maui adopted!
Lovingly sponsored by our favorite Brownie Troop
Meet Cassie and Maui beautiful five year old brother and sister liter mates. This pair is completely bonded and must go to a lucky family together. They are spirited and loving always wanting to please. This stunning yellow pair have beautiful eye liner exotic slanting at the outside edge of their burnt sugar eyes.
Both pups need some leash work, they will pull on a run until a mile and a half then they mellow out. Lovers of the beach, swimming pool, runs on the property, belly rubs, sweet soft whispers of praise, and healthy grain free food. They also enjoy the big organic carrot they get daily for a treat.
Having been raised as outside only dogs they have been loving their foster home inside with abundant dog beds, sunny warm spaces to lie in the sun on the carpet. They are such newbies to living inside that they innocently growl at their own reflections in the long windows when it is dark.
Maui is a big boy and could accidentally topple a small child so six years and up would be best. They are not cat friendly so no Kitty's for them.

| Bear Girl adopted!Meet Bear Girl, a happy and sweet yellow female labbie girl of just about 2-3 years old. She is a light cream almost white color and is a nice smaller size of about 65 pounds. Bear Girl was found as a stray and no one came to claim her as their own. We believe she might be a slight mix, but with such a lovely temperament, we knew this girl needed to come home with us! Bear Girl is great with other dogs both big and small. She is fostered with other dogs, other labs and 2 smaller dogs and she gets along great with all of them. She really enjoys playing with her foster labbie brother! She is non-destructive and does well left alone in the house with the other dogs. Bear Girl is a medium energy girl who enjoys her walks and playtime, but also settles down very nicely in the house. She is completely housebroken and has good house manners. She is learning to walk better on leash, although she can pull just a little bit - with just a little more training she will be great in no time! Bear Girl is even doing well with the cats in her foster home! At first she is a little scared of the cats and will be curious, but keep her distance. However, if the cat runs, she surely will chase. But she will not harm a cat. So dog savvy cats are probably best for her. Bear Girl will do great in a home with another friendly canine companion or as your one and only. She will need her daily exercise like a good walk or dog park and then will do great settling into the house. She might even enjoy hikes, a trip to dog beach, or even a jog now and again. She is still young so she must have her daily exercise. Bear Girl would likely do well with children, however any lab can knock a toddler down, so only children over age 5 will be considered. Bear Girl is a good girl in the house or car and settles nicely. Her new family will want to supply lots and lots of toys and chewy toys like nylabones, rawhides, and bully sticks to keep her amused. This pretty girl is a lovely sweet companion and will bring much joy to that family fortunate enough to adopt her. Bear Girl is a healthy girl who is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, and now ready for her forever home! If you think you would like to add this sweet girl to your home, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Stella White adopted!Meet Stella White, a darling, happy, white labbie girl. She is about 5 years old and 60 pounds of perfection! People stop her foster mom on the street because she's so beautiful, and everyone thinks she's a puppy because of her petite size and bubbly personality. Stella White LOVES other dogs, and the feeling is mutual. She has met many dogs of all kinds and sizes and enjoys playing with them all whether it's at the dog park or out for a walk in the neighborhood. She is a popular girl, and though playful is respectful and gentle with other dogs. Stella White is a medium energy girl. She enjoys long walks and the dog park. She's also very affectionate and likes to greet people on the street. She is quite the explorer when on walks and is learning to walk better on the leash and might do with a little bit more training. She corrects easily and will get the hang of it soon! She is completely housebroken and settles nicely in the house after some playtime. Though she will counter surf if you leave food out, she does have good house manners. And she knows the commands sit and down! Stella White is great with kids too, but she might knock a toddler down so only children ages 5 and over please. Stella White also loves car rides. She hops right in and sticks her head out the window to enjoy the sights and smells. Stella White would do well in a home with other canine companions and children or as your one and only. She would be great with a family who will take her for rides to dog park, hiking and dog beach so that she can continue to make friends. This girl is such a sweetheart. If you want a labbie who's happy to see you and always greets you with a smile, this girl may be for you! | Winter Grace adopted!Meet Winter Grace or "Winnie" as her foster mommy calls her! What a pretty angel she is with her beautiful winter white coat and black eyeliner. She is a beauty queen and such a nice girl. Winter is a purebred bench bred (or English) Labrador. She is a nice stocky blocky love with a blocky head, otter tail and nice round paw. She is beauitfuly bred and appears to be show quality which is unusual for shelter dogs. She is 4 years old and about 60 perfect pounds. Winter is a fairly mellow girl who is a good girl in the home and is not destructive or noisy or naughty. She is completely housebroken too and is a good girl in her crate. She is really a good girl and she loves to lay on her soft bed or at your feet and is really a people dog. Winter loves her ears rubbed and will lay and make cute little groaning noises to let you know you are making her so happy. She will make someone a nice mellow companion although she has spunk too. She is an excellent wiggler and smiler and she sure loves her leash walks. She walks beautifully on the leash and passes other dogs nicely. Winter loves to be close to her humans and is such a people dog. She is very good with the other dogs she is fostered with but we think she will do beautifully as an only dog as she really is so much more interested in people than dogs. She is a happy girl who loves to play ball! We think Winter would be a perfect companion for an easy going household wanting a calm dog. She will do fine with children over age 7 and would also do fine as a companion to a retired person too. She is a very laid back girl. Winter comes to us from an LA City shelter and we are as surprised as you that she ended up there! We are happy that she was brought to our attention and we feel honored to have her in our care on her way to her new fur-ever home. Winter is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you feel this white angel is right for you and you are approved for adoption, please follow up with an email to IndiLabGirl@gmail.com

| Bau Bau adopted!Lovingly sponsored by Robin Nenninger Meet Bau Bau, a sweet, super easy going purebred Labrador. She is 8-9 years old, mellow, and a wonderful companion. Bau Bau came to us from Taiwan where she was found on the street in an industrial zone. Most dogs don't fare well on the street, but this girl was well loved and everyone fed her. We can see why. She is very, very adorable and loveable and was a favorite of many! When our rescue partner found her, she was extremely obese and could barely get up due to being so fat! Needless to say she has lose almost all of that weight thank goodness! Now she is almost at a healthy weight at 75 lbs but could lose another few pounds over time. It would be nice to see Bau Bau weigh 68 pounds maximum. Bau Bau is a really good girl. She is exceptionally gentle with other dogs and cats and will do beautifully with small critters like ducks and chickens as well. Most than anything, Bau Bau loves her walks. When you show her her leash, she ets excited and wags her tail and smiles at you. She loves to go on her walks and walks very nicely on her leash. However if you don't ask Bau Bau to come walk with you, she is content to chill all day as she is so mellow. This is really good for those rainy days but it is important that this girl get her daily exercise so she continues to keep a good weight! Bau Bau is perfect with other dogs and will do fine with a canine companion. She doesn't play with other dogs much but sure loves their company. Bau Bau loves kids and is gentle with them. She can be placed even with young children provided they are respectful of dogs and gentle with them. This special, gentle girl has a tendancy to get stiff. After all she was very overweight a few months back and all that weight must have taken it's toll on her joints. She should be on fish oil and a high quality glucosamine supplement. Also getting her walk every day will help keep her flexible as she continues to build muscle. Bau Bau is housebroken and knows "sit" and "down". She does not dig or chew and is not destructive. She will do great in a home with toddlers, kids and cats as well. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you feel this pretty and gentle girl is right for you, and you have been approved to adopt, please follow up with an email to Indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Bethel adopted!Meet Bethel, a darling 1-2 year old chocolate female purebred Labrador. Bethel is a nice sized gal at about 65 pounds and has a pretty face and beautiful chocolate coat. Bethel came to us from an owner who could no longer keep her. This owner had a few other dogs and was moving. We were lucky enough to get Bethel into our care so we could help her find a good home. When we first met Bethel, we noticed she had entropion in her right eye. Entropion is simply an eyelid that curls in on the eyeball, therefore causing some irritation to the dog's eye. So during Bethel's spay surgery, we also had her eyelid fixed so she will no longer have any pain or irritation in her eye! It is healing perfectly and she will be as good as new in no time! Bethel has a wonderful temperament and great potential. She absolutely will need some good basic training. She has lots to learn but wants to please. She already knows how to sit & is anxious to learn more from her new family! It is likely that with a number of dogs in her previous home, Bethel never got the good attention and training from her humans that she so deserves. Bethel is good with other dogs, and likes to enjoy some playtime with them. She enjoys her doggie toys and will entertain herself with them. Bethel is fostered with other female labs and she gets along good with all of them. Bethel is a gorgeous girl. She is more of an English style Lab, with a shorter frame and a nice conformation. She gets lots of comments on how adorable she is! We are confident that with a little bit of training, she will become a fabulous adult Labbie! Bethel is a medium energy girl. She will do best with a family that is committed to doing some training with her - helping her learn her basic commands. A doggie obedience class would even be great for her. She does pull on leash, so is best walked with a training collar until she learns that walking next to her human is best! Bethel will do best in a home where children are over age 8 as she can be quite jumpy... although she is learning in her foster home that greeting humans is best done on all four paws. She would likely do well as your one and only, or with another playful doggie companion. She can be mouthy - especially when she is excited to get a doggie treat, so she needs to be reminded to take treats gently. Her foster mom is working on this already. Bethel is a very healthy girl who is up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. If you would like to add this beautiful girl to your home, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

Tyler adopted! Meet Tyler, a cute male 3 year old chocolate Labrador retriever with a sweet personality. When his sun bleached coat has grown out he is going to be the most delicious chocolatey color - Yummy! Tyler is an adorable boy with a goofy personality. He gets along great with his foster Lab brothers and sister. He would do really well in a home with another dog or with someone who is home a lot. He would love trips to dog park and dog beach. Tyler is learning to walk without pulling on the leash. He does really well until the neighborhood cats run by him. With more practice, he will be perfect in no time. He has a happy, playful energy and does enjoy playing a game of fetch in the backyard - so retrieving is definitely something he enjoys. However, once he gets the ball he tends to run around with it. He is learning that he needs to bring it back and drop it so the fun can continue. Tyler is your typical happy wiggly boy. He knows his commands of sit and shake. He loves to lie down for his favorite belly rubs. Tyler was found as a stray and turned a shelter. We are so thankful for the volunteer who got him out and transported him to us. Thank goodness, because this boy deserves a fabulous new home where he is not left out in the backyard all day. Tyler is housebroken and will use the doggie door too, but as it is with any new dog in a new home, he should be watched at first in his new environment. He also has good house manners and does not jump up on any furniture. Like many labs, his nose is very interested in what is on the counter. His new home will need to make sure to not leave any loaves of bread out within his reach. Tyler is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is looking for his forever home. Is it yours? Tyler is neutered, up to date on vaccines and adorable. If you feel this fella is right for you and you are homechecked and approved, please email donna@indilabrescue.org

| Missy May adopted!Lovingly sponsored by Scott Bixler and Diana Flaherty in memory of their darling boy HomerMeet Missy May, a snuggly, darling AKC registered 6 year old white female Labrador purebred. This female Lab is so sweet and so perfect! Missy came to us from a breeder becuase Missy May did not like to be bred. When in season, this queen bee would thwart mating attemps by simply sitting down. She simply would have none of it. The breeder only breeds naturally and therefore Missy was retired to go to a nice loving pet home. They called us and we promised to do our best. Missy loves all people and all dogs. But mostly she is a people dog. She is very velcro and clingy though some of that will settle down as she is more confident in her new home. She is a medium to lower energy lab typical of the English variety. She's low-key, loves to be in the house, loves her car rides and really, really, really loves laying on her back and wiggling for you. Her foster mom says that Missy will be an amazing dog for some lucky family. She does not drool, nor lick, and she is a clean girl. She loves dog park so much and is just so social. She trotts around the dog park saying "hi" to everyone and every dog! Missy likes to be where you are and will lay down near you while you fold laudry or cook or do dishes. Her foster mommy says she has 2 speeds. Speed 1 is following you around and speek 2 is laying on her back snoozing while you do your thing nearby. We think she will do reallly well with someone who works from home or is retired. She is such a companion. She is also perfect to take to the office with you if they allow this becuase she is such a good girl. She does not want to live somewhere as an only dog if her people are gone all day. She has spend her life as a breeder dog mostly outside in a kennel and wants to have the companionship and indoor treasured life of a real family doggie now. Missy must be on a good grain free diet as should all Labs and goldens. She is healing up nicely from a few hot spots resulted from eating food with grain and need to eat biologically appropriate food which means no corn, soy, rice, etc. After all dogs are not meant to consume grain which is used as a cheap filler in food. She is perfectly housebroken and easy to love. Not destructive at all. Missy is a healthy girl who is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready for the best fur-ever home in the world. Will it be yours? If you are approved to adopt with us, please send an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

| Champion adopted!Meet Champion, or Champ as we call him! He is a 8 month old purebred yellow Lab puppy who is ready for his new home! Champ is a lab puppy of just 8 months and about 55 pounds. Of course he still has some growing to do, so we expect him to be about 70 pounds when he is full grown. Champ came to us from a family who was moving and could not take his dogs with him. He had Champ's sire and dam as well. He has personal friends who had agreed to take Champ's parents, but they just didn't want a puppy. The good news is that we rescued him and are now able to find him a great puppy committed home! Champ is a lovely puppy. He is smart and willing to please. He is already housebroken and learning his commands. He is good with other dogs and is ready to go through some more puppy training to learn how to be the best adult canine citizen! Champ is looking for a committed puppy forever home. This is a home where someone is around much of the time and where his new family is prepared to provide lots of puppy toys and patience and training! Also at his age, Champ needs lots of dog park and/or play days with other dogs to continue his socialization. As a young pup, he does need good daily exercise - he would even enjoy being your jogging buddy or a hiking partner. After his exercise, he will settle well in the home. Champ is great in the house and sticks to his toys. But of course it's important to have lots of fun dog toys like kongs and nylabones to ensure he always chews on the right things! He is already doing great on the leash too. He also loves the car and is a good boy in the car. Champ is also crate trained and does well in his crate - although he may bark at first, he will settle down when he realizes his barking doesn't work to get attention. Yes, he's a puppy! This guy is so beautiful and so perfect that we can only imagine how his owners must have felt having to give him up. We just want this little man to have the best forever home there is. Champ is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. If you think you can provide a fun filled life for a young lab puppy like Champ, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Shiloh adopted!Meet Shiloh, a gorgeous purebred Golden Retriever female of 2 years. This slightly shy, sweet girl is adorable and deserves the best home! Shiloh is a medium sized, medium energy Golden. She is a beautiful mahogany Golden with a pretty face and a gorgeous coat. Shiloh came to us from an Inland Valley high kill shelter. We still cannot understand how she ended up there or why no one came to get her. She is too sweet and perfect to not be loved. She loves other dogs and gets on well with the bulldog male she is fostered with. She is also fostered with a Golden female sho doesn't like her much but Shiloh avoids her well and seems to be a very good easy going pup even when another dog is not fond of her. She is fabulous with cats and wags her tail at the 4 kitties she is fostered with. Shiloh likes to play and love to play fetch. She is good on the leash too and passes other dogs nicely. Shiloh is also fostered with a tortoise! She is a little scared of the tortoise when he is walking around. She likes him though and is getting used to him. Shiloh seems trustworthy and has not been destructive. She is not a barker or digger. And she is totally housebroken. She is a slightly shy girl who is coming out of her shell more each day wagging her tail and loving the pets and attention and of course kisses. Shiloh is a healthy young Golden. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you feel this angel is right for you, and you are approved to adopt, please follow up with an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

| Garvy adopted!Meet Garvy, a lovely chocolate male Labrador of just about 2 years old. Garvy is on the smaller side at only 65 pounds. Garvy came to us from a very high kill shelter in central California where he had no hope of getting adopted by the public. We learned of Garvy's plight and were lucky enough to find a fabulous prior IndiLab adopter to help transport him down to Los Angeles! We promptly got him to the vet for a health check and to be fixed and on his way to foster with us he went! Garvy is a good mix of mellow calmness and energetic fun. He's a young guy who needs a nice walk or dog park and is a gentle boy who wants nothing more than love and affection. He will sit right up next to you and lean against your legs just to get attention and even try to crawl into your lap if you let him. He loves to cuddle up next to you and have his head on your lap or your chest. And oh how he loves his belly rubs! Garvy will be a happy boy as long as he gets lots of love and affection each and every day! Garvy is a sweet, darling boy, who will follow you everywhere. He walks pretty well on leash - pulling at times, but correcting well. He also enjoys a game of fetch - most of the time will bring the ball back to you with ease, but occasionally likes to play the keep away game - silly labbie boy! Garvy is completely housebroken. He is well mannered in the house, although he will find his way up onto your couch if you let him - especially to sit next to you for affection. He hasn't done any counter surfing in foster, he's not a barker and does not dig either! He is also well trained, knowing his commands of sit, down and stay! Garvy settles beautifully in the house after his walk or playtime. He likes to be close to you and nap at your feet or on the dog bed & nestled up close. He is truly wonderful with all other dogs. He is fostered with 4 other female dogs and he is great with all of them, he enjoys playing with the younger dogs and is a good companion to the older ones. He would like to play with another dog, and would probably enjoy a playful companion in his forever home. Garvy will do beautifully as an only dog or with another friendly doggie companion. He is a medium energy boy - requiring his daily exercise, some nice good walks, playtime in the backyard, perhaps a hike here or there or even a trip to dog beach. Garvy will likely do well with children although we would prefer to place him in a home with kids older than 6. He takes treats very gently and even waits his turn patiently when around the other dogs. We do not know how he does around cats so no kitties for this boy in his new home. Garvy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready for his new home! If you think Garvy is the boy for you, be sure to complete an application to adopt and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Mattie adopted!Meet Mattie! Mattie is a beautiful, purebred, male mahogany Golden Retriever puppy. He is 10 months old and is a hunk of love with beautiful Hollywood white teeth! Mattie is great with cats so a good choice for famiies with kitties! Mattie is a young kid who sadly was picked up as a stray. We thought for sure someone would be looking for this boy but no one ever came to claim him, so we got him out of the local shelter and brought him home with us! Mattie is about 65 pounds and is a medium energy boy who still has a little growing to do. Like most young pups, he has more puppy energy and will need good daily exercise like all young Retrievers do. He is great with other dogs and gets along very well with his foster siblings. And continued trips to dog park each day will go far in helping him socialize with other youngsters, play, and get out his energy. Plus he loves it! He is good at sharing toys and space and he really loves playing with other playful doggies too! Young Mattie is still learning his doggie manners. He will jump up when excited, but corrects well. He knows sit, but is still learning his other commands. A nice obedience class would be great for this happy boy! He's smart and wants to please and we feel certain he would be the start of his puppy class! Mattie is completely housebroken and is not a marker either (he still squats to potty) - so cute. He can pull a bit on leash, but is great walked with a training collar or gentle leader! Mattie is young and loves dogs. Like most of our foster dogs, we cannot say how he would do left alone without a canine companion for long hours every day. He would do great with a doggie companion, or as an only dog - provided he is not left alone for long hours every day! Mattie will need good daily exercise each day such as dog park, a hike or a good long walk and some playtime in the yard. He might even make a good jogging partner! After his exercise, he will settle well in the house or yard. He also sleeps soundly through the night on a doggie bed. True to his retriever nature, he loves his toys, so will need a home with lots of toys to keep him busy - he loves his Kong! Mattie also loves food and he will counter surf so clear counters are a must so he doesn't eat something he shouldn't. Mattie is a healthy sweet boy who is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He even just had a professional grooming! If you think this young pup is the one for you, be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Tony Lin adopted!
Meet Tony Lin, a gorgeous, wonderful male Golden Retriever with a heart as golden as his beautiful feathered coat.
Tony is a 5 year old purebred Golden Retriever of 60 lbs. He is just wonderful with all dogs and all people. He loves everyone and is Mr. friendly with constant waggings and wiggles and boy can he smile.
Tony is a gentle and lovely boy. He loves other dogs but can sometimes be shy at first if there are a lot of dogs at one time. He likes to play and he loves to be cuddled and pet. He is great candidate for children over age 6. He loves kids.
Tony was found as a government pound in the city of Taipei in Taiwan. His owner brought him there saying that he was too busy traveling to have a dog. This is horrible in Taiwan as the government pound is nothing more than a killing field. Tony was skin and bones and his owner left him to die. Thank goodness our volunteer found him and brought him to safety.
When our rescue partners first rescued Tony he was in horrible condition and was heartworm positive. After treatment for heartworm and gaining weight and just getting healthy, Tony was ready to come to us in California. He is a healthy boy now and his new owner will need to keep Tony on heartworm preventative going forward.
This is Tony today, a happy healthy boy ready for the rest of his life. He's a showestopper in looks and personality.
Tony is good on a leash, completely housebroken, has great house manners and is full of love. He's a medium energy boy who will enjoy dog park, dog beach and attention. He's a submissive boy who can be a little shy in new experiences.
Currently Tony is in foster care with five other dogs and has learned very quickly to move to the front of the line and nudge an arm for pets and hugs. Of course in typical golden style, there are never enough!
He will be a great addition to any home, children, adults, large dogs, small dogs. Just add a soft hand and a huge hug.

| Gracie 2 adopted!Meet Gracie, a darling AKC purebred yellow female Labrador with an adorable smiley face and a lovely disposition! Gracie is a sweet girl of 4 years old and will come with her AKC papers. She is a medium sized girl and has a beautiful soft buttery coat. She is a little chunky and should lose about 10 pounds, which is easy to do with limited food and some extra exercise for Gracie! Gracie came to us from her owner when she went through a divorce, and her children were no longer at her home as often. Hence, Gracie was no longer getting the love, attention and exercise she deserved. So her owner did what she thought was best for Gracie - to help her find a home where she would be happier. It was a very tough decision for her owner. Gracie is a fairly mellow and easy going girl. She gets along great with other dogs and passes them nicely on leash. She is fostered with a 10 year old female lab and she is very respectful of her. She enjoys playing on occasion, but is not obsessive about it. Gracie would do well as an only dog or with another mellow doggie companion. She does not enjoy the company of young puppies as much, but tolerates them well. Gracie is completely housebroken and non-destructive. Although true to her retriever nature, she can be found carrying your shoes around the house or perhaps an item of your clothing if she can find one. Silly girl. She doesn't destroy the items, but likes to carry them around and have them with her. Gracie is well trained, she knows sit, shake, and minds her manners well in the home. She also sleeps soundly on her dog bed throughout the night and is good in the car too. She hops right in and will just enjoy the ride - happy to go anywhere with you. This beauty LOVES water and we would love to find her a home where she would have a pool, trips to the beach, and even some play time in the hose or sprinklers. She lights up with a smile and excitement around water - it is so cute to see. Gracie is a super sweet girl, loves to get belly rubs and to be pet all over. We want to find her a home where she will get lots of love and attention, and not be left alone super long hours like she was previously. She could even go to work with you, if your office allows it. Gracie would do great with children, although she could knock toddlers down, so only children over age 6 will be considered for this sweetie. We do not know how Gracie will do with kitties, so no homes with cats for Gracie at this time. Gracie is healthy, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. If you think you could give Gracie a fabulous new forever home, be sure to complete an application to adopt and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Barry adopted!Lovingly sponsored by Robin Nenninger Ahhh! This is Barry, a really handsome purebred male Golden of 5 years. This boy is a really well bred purebred with excellent conformation and perfect temperament. He's the cream of the crop. Barry is of perfect size for a male Golden at 65 lbs. Often now days, we see Goldens much, much bigger, but this boy is right where he should be for the breed standard and is such a perfect size. He also has a gorgeous head and sweet expression. He could gain a few pounds so a nice healthy food and good quality treats can be plentiful for this boy. Barry has a gorgeous soft golden coat and a touch of grey on his face that makes him look even cuter than he already is. This boy is darling. Barry came to us from our rescue partner in Taiwan. This boy was found as a stray, rescued, neutered, vaccinated, and vetted for a clean bill of health and then fostered in a home in Taiwan for months before getting the opportunity to come here. We are thrilled to help this sweet, loving boy find a new forever home in California! Barry is a calm and loving boy. He has just the best easy going personality and takes just about everything in stride. He loves to be with his person and enjoys other dogs too. He is fostered with 3 other dogs and does great with all of them. And with his temperament you can take Barry just about anywhere - perhaps to work with you. This boy would even make a good candidate for therapy work! Barry loves to play fetch, and can often be found with a ball in his mouth, lounging next to his ball or even sleeping with his toy right next to him! Barry is completely housebroken and well trained. He knows sit and will even shake. He is also very well mannered in the house and will sleep soundly on his dog bed all night long. Barry will do fine in a home with another friendly canine companion - especially if he is to be alone all day. He would also do great as an only dog provided he gets a good amount of attention from his family. He really doesn't love being totally alone all day. He's not a dog to leave in the back yard all day by himself - he wants and deserves to be indoors with his family and snuggled up on a dog bed. This boy is really a best friend. He wants to be part of a family and close to his people. He is a very calm boy in the house and just adores to be pet. He is a huggable boy and has the sweetest face ever!! He is a gentle and calm boy so is a good choice for families with children. He is healthy, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and neutered. If you feel Barry the lover is right for your family, please complete an application and shoot an email to indilabgirl@gmail.comRemember you must be homechecked and approved to meet any of our dogs.

| Sally adopted!Lovingly sponsored by our favorite Brownie Troop!Meet Sally, a 6-7 year old wiggly, happy, beautiful Labrador. She's a white English purebred Lab and has a nice stocky conformation and blocky head. She has the sweetest expression. Sally's family moved out and left her behind in their yard. For weeks she lived in the yard abandoned with several other dogs they had left behind. Thankfully a neighbor figured it out and brough the dogs food and water until rescue could be found for all of them. We can't imagine moving out and leaving dogs behind to start and dehydrate to death, but it seems some people find that to be ok. Sally came to us very shaken up and confused. But boy has she settled in and relaxed. She is a very sweet, loving girl with a wonderful calm personality. Sally is wonderful with other dogs. She has met a lot of doggie friends and loves them all. She is getting along great with her foster brother, a black male Labrador. Sally had probably never been walked on a leash before but she is learning how and doing really well. At first she pulls a bit, but after a little bit she stops. She is better every day on her walks! She is learning her basic commands too. Who ever owned her did nothing with her - never taught her anything. But she loves to please and really is doing so well!. She knows her basics, is doing great on leash work, and is getting her housebreaking skills in order. Sally does not love her crate too much but she is sleeping through the night very well. She loves to sunbathe in the yard with her foster brother and she loves to be pet and snuggled. Sally is a medium energy Labrador and she will do great with her 2 shorter walks a day. She will also enjoy dog park now and then for a visit if you like. She can do a short 3 mile hike with you if you want but she is not a runnng partner as she is a much more mellow dog than that. She will do find with older children but we dont' want to place her with toddlers becuase she deserves a lot of attention that she never got in her life before. We don't know about cats so no kitties for Sally and we do prefer she has another canine companion in her home. Sally is healthy, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. If you feel this sweet girl is right for you, and you have been approved to adopt, please send an email to donna@indilabrescue.org

Maximus Dooley adopted!Meet Maximus Dooley, a dreamy, extremely special, big, scrumptious, English Labrador. Maximus Dooley is a purebred Labrador Retriever and is a show quality, bench-bred white Lab. He has perfect conformation and the sweetest personality you will ever know. Max is 5 years old, according to our vet, and he is stocky (as a Lab should be) and solid. He has a gorgeous block head and thick, relatively low-slung body. This angel has a perfect extremely mellow temperament - you can call him a therapy quality dog. He is a couch potato and is quiet and calm until the leash comes out. Then all bets are off becuase this fella LOVES his walks! Max is, however, learning to sit for leashing. Max would love to be a therapy dog and would eat up the attention. He is excellent with cats as well. He loves his two Labby foster sisters. Max is still learning his commands and being potty trained. So far so good. He are a little behind in these things because he was an outside dogs but he is learning this stuff now and is doing amazing. Max has been neutered and is up to date on vaccines and is microchipped. Max must go to a home where he will be adored and spoiled. Never left outside again but with full run of the house as he deserves. He would love another friendly canine companion to share time with and would love a kitty friend if one is already in the home. Mostly he just wants companionship, attention and love. Max is a healthy boy and his only consideration is that he has sciatica, and may occasionally have a flare up necessitating the use of medication to get over it. He has perfect hips and sound conformation. Max is just a joy and a wonderful angel. Whoever is worthy of this fella will surely be the happiest of all. If you have been approved to adopt, and you think you have the best home ever for this sweet boy, please email scartersoo@mac.com to meet Maximus Dooley!

| Jezzy adopted!Meet Jezzy, a stunningly beautiful purebred Lab. This 3-year old purebred chocolate female is an english or bench bred lab and comes with her AKC papers too! Jezzy is a very sweet, easy going girl. She is a typical Lab with very nice breeding. She has a beautiful head, a gorgeous face, a thick otter tail and has had had her dew claws removed. Jezzy came to us when she needed to retire from a breeding program as she had a prolapsed uterus. This medical condition meant Jezzy needed to be spayed and could no longer breed. We happily took Jezzy into our care, immediately got her spayed and she has now fully recovered and is ready for a new forever home! This girl is a perfect size at about 70 pounds. She is completely housebroken and even uses the doggie door in her foster home. She is fabulous with all other dogs she meets and enjoys the company of her 2 foster labbie sisters. She enjoys some playtime with her 1 year old foster sister daily. Jezzy is very good with people, although she might be a bit too mouthy for very young kids, she would do very well with children over age 6. She is not jumpy and is a nice, sweet girl who loves to give kisses! Jezzy is a medium energy girl who is actually fairly calm. She will do best with another friendly canine companion - perhaps even another friendly playful dog in her home. She is young and will need her daily exercise and because she is so friendly she would do great at dog park, going to work with you, or going to parks and other public places with people and other dogs. Jezzy loves the doggie toys in her foster home - especially the soft squeaky toys which she loves to carry around in her mouth and do the labbie wiggle! She will even whine with joy at times - it's adorable! She can also be found enjoying a doggie bone too. She shares her toys well with the other doggies at all times. Jezzy knows her command of sit, and is learning her other commands well. She is also learning quickly how to walk well on leash. She can pull at the beginning of her walk, but about 15 minutes in, she settles well into a good pace and is learning to walk next to her person. Jezzy is completely crate trained and even enjoys going in her crate all on her own to relax and chew on a bone. She also of course loves the doggie beds and will find her way up onto your bed to snooze with you if you allow her. Jezzy is an unbelievably beautiful dog and her personality and heart are equally beautiful. She really deserves only the best home. Jezzy is healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you think you could provide a fabulous home for this gorgeous girl, please send an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

Nelson adopted!Meet Nelson, a happy wiggly purebred yellow Lab male of just about 1 year of age. This guy is the sweetest happiest Lab who is still just a pupster and has his dew claws removed like a true purebred. Nelson is a healthy boy at just about 55 lbs. He could use a little filling out but he is still young so he will fill out more over the next year. He will probably be about 65 pounds when he is full grown. Nelson has a gorgeous light yellow or white coat and a happy labby smile. He is a true beauty but his looks are only part of what makes Nelson such a great Labrador. He has the loving labbie temperament we expect. Nelson does great with all other dogs. He enjoys their company and even like some playtime with his labbie sisters he is fostered with! He would likely love dog park where he can romp around and make lots of doggie friends! Nelson is housebroken and is not a marker at all. He is good in the house, but he is young and loves his toys and bones. As a true lab pup, he may still chew things that are NOT his toys are his so he needs to be reminded. His new home should have lots of nice toys for him, and especially chew toys like nylabones, rawhides, kongs and the like. He loves play with his soft squeaky toys. Nelson also loves to play fetch - although he is still learning to give he ball back to you - silly boy. If Nelson is super happy and wiggly and glad to see you he may try to jump. We are working on this and he is doing better. He will do great with children, but may be a little too wiggly for tiny toddlers even though he will love them. Since he is young and loves toys so much he sometimes tends to be a little Labby mouthy guy. So again, probably not the best choice for children under 5 years of age. Nelson is very, very sweet. He is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly with a gentle hand. He is a real lover and adores all people. He likes to give kisses and lay his head or sometimes his whole body in your lap. Nelson will do best in a home where he will get the good daily exercise all young Labs need and also trips to dog park and dog beach to meet and play with other dogs. He is everything we look for in our Labs. He is good on leash and does well on car rides too. He is also crate trained and does well in his crate - which is nice for lab puppies! Nelson is healthy, neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and microchipped. If you can provide a great home for this labbie pupster, be sure to complete an application to adopt and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Boomer 3 adopted!Meet Boomer 3 the handsome, sweet, loving two-year old big pup. He's a jet black, gorgeous purebred with a heart of gold and he deserves the best forever family. This boy is great with all people and though shy at first is good with dogs large and small. He is currently fostered with the tiniest dog and he is lovely with him. He has a generosity of spirit and will share with his foster siblings his toys and even his bed. He loves their company and will do beautifully with other dogs in the home. This boy loves the beach and so enjoys his daily walks. He is medium energy for such a young Lab and incredibly well behaved so that you may forget he is still a youngers who occasionally might chew up his soft toys! He sometimes picks up socks and the like so his new owners will need to make sure laundry is put away and lots of fun puppy appropriate toys are about! We do not know Boomers background as he was a shelter dog but surely someone must have loved him as he know his basic commands, is completely house broken, and rides wonderfully in the car! So it is clear he did belong to someone who may to this day be missing him terribly. Perhaps he just wandered too far away or was picked up by someone wanting to keep him, only to have him get out in an entirely different area? We just don't know. This boy has a gorgeous lush shinny coat and the whitest healthy teeth. He is quite a handsome Labrador and a show stopper for sure. We would like a loving, friendly brother or sister for Boomer. He would do best with a caninine friend to show him the ropes and also to be with him when his family needs to be elsewhere. He so loves other dogs. Boomer has have a full health work up and is a very healthy dog! Like most Labs he will need his glucosamine and fish oil and his weight to be kept to a healthy amount. Healthy grain free food should be part of his routine since Labradors do not do well with grain. He loves his baths and thinks its great fun. He enjoys a daily 3 to 6 mile walk. Swimming is also something he enjoys, as well as the beach. Chew bones are great for him but no soft toys at this point since he tears them up. | Katie Love adopted!
Mett Katie Love, a darling, petite, delicate darling. This little 50 pound white Labrador is a purebred, feild Lab with a sweet disposition and a slightly shy temperament. She is just precious.
Katie Love came to us from a loving home that was no longer able to care for her properly. She was originally purchased by her owners daugher and was professionally trained to be a good girl which she certainly is!
Katie loves all people and other dogs. She is wonderful with even the tiniest doggies and is a gentle sweet girl. At 2 years of age, she enjoys her walks and loves hikes and dog park. She will enjoy dog beach this summer if you want to take her too.
Katie is a very loving lap dog wanting hugs and kisses and pets. She will snuggle up beside you and adore you. She loves to be near you while you watch TV or work on the computer. She is quiet, easy going, non-destructive and housebroken.
Katie is also good with children though we think she would do best with easy going non-obnoxious kids since she is slightly shy. No little toddlers please and no boisterous busy loud children with tons of nutty friends about. That would just be too much for this quiet girl.
Katie is good on the leash and does not pull. She loves her walks.
Katie Love will do best with another canine companion or where someone is around much of the time as she gets used to her home.

| Ginger 2 adopted!Lovingly sponsored by Elizabeth KeigleyMeet Ginger the prettiest yellow Labrador! Ginger is a very mellow, calm girl and has a wonderful-easy going temperament. Wonderful with cats, and dogs, and humans alike! She is a larger girl and is about 5-6 years worth of perfect angel dog-ness. Ginger came to us from the shelter after her owners turned her in. They had gotten a small dog and I guess they decided they did not want Ginger any more. How sad that is. Ginger has a heart of gold and is loved by each person she meets. We cannot understand how anyone could let her go. Ginger is a very affectionate, very easy going girl. She loves to be with her people and will follow you around at times. She is a good girl in the house and is not destructive. She loves to be pet and loves to lay at your feet. She is completely housebroken and will sleep on her doggie bed the whole night through. Ginger knows her basic commands and wants to please. She greats you happily when you return home with a wiggle and a smile. She is wonderful with all other dogs and has no aggression. She is also a pleasure to walk on the leash. She does not pull at all and passes other dogs nicely. She is a medium to lower energy girl and is very gentle. Ginger is a larger sized Labrador at about 100 lbs which is quite big for a female. However she is so easy, calm, trained and gentle that she is much more manageable than a 10 lbs chihuaha! She is like a therapy dog. Even though she is tall, she does not counter surf! Gingers only fault is that she is a tad territorial over her food and will give a little grown if the other dogs encroach upon her while she is having her dinner. However she takes treats so gently even next to the other dogs. She does not beg for food at all either. She loves other dogs and will do great with another canine companion or a kitty companion. She will do fine with older children and she seems ok left alone during the day with her dog and cat foster siblings. Ginger is a healthy girl and is not overweight. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. If you feel this gentle and extremely sweet angel is right for you, and you have been homechecked and approved, please email donna@indilabrescue.org

| Lillee adopted!
Meet Lillee the Lovebug, Lillee is a Lab/Golden mix with the standard nose nudging, belly rub requirement and mandatory ball tossing.
Lillee the Lovebug has excellent house manners, loves the other dogs, will ignore a cat and loves her humans.
Evening is her favorite time because she lies on top of her foster daddy while he watches television and she gets to take a nice nap. She has a gentle little snore which just makes her more delightful.
Lillee is about 3 years old and 70lbs. House trained, rides well in the car, does well at the dogs park, knows sit, and down. She does need some leash work but is fine off leash on a hike.
She loves her toys and fishes through the toy box to select the right one for her energy level. One to tear up, one to hold, one to play tug. She is very affectionate.
Lillee's attitude is amazing considering she was taken from an abusive home where she was tied out day and night. She has adjusted to the "good life" and loves her humans. Lilly is a joy to have around, good with children, other dogs, people, cats and has a lifetime of joy to bring to your home.
Lillee is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

| Cammie adopted!Meet Cammie! This 1 year old girl is the cutest little petite yellow Labrador in the whole world! This smaller perfect purebred is only about 50 lbs and is as sweet as sugar! Cammie came to us from a local high kill shelter where she clearly did not belong. Like so many labs every day, this gorgeous girl ended up without anyone claiming her as their own. We knew this girl needed to come home with us! Cammie is still a puppy at 1 year old, so she occassionally picks u and chews the "wrong toy" like a remote control, computer power cord and the like, however she corrects very well and loves her nylabones and doggie toys so she is really learning! She is a gentle, calm, sweet girl in the home and is learning her doggie manners very well. She enjoys laying on her foster mom's bed and cuddling with her on the couch. When Cammie first came to us from the shelter she had some leash reactivity when passing other dogs on leash. Off leash, Cammie is great around other dogs, and really enjoys their company and playing with them too! Cammie has spent time with a professional trainer and her leash reactivity is significantly improved! Cammie is very easily corrected and really wants to please her person and do the right thing... she just needs her person to give her good direction. Poor Cammie likely wasn't socialized on leash much as a young pup, so she is learning how to best greet dogs on leash. After a couple minutes with a dog, she is their friend and companion with no further issues. She has lots of doggie friends she has made while in foster and does very well with them. However, Cammie will need continued reminders with her new family when greeting dogs on leash, and our trainer will be delighted to give you a free session with her! Cammie has nice house manners - following her foster mom from room to room just to be near her. Cammie loves to give sweet kisses to everyone she meets and will even give you a paw to get more affection when you stop petting her. She is such a sweet, loving girl who will steal your heart in minutes. Her foster mom says she's the most well mannered house dog she has ever fostered! Cammie is a medium energy girl who will do well in a home where her family is not gone really long hours at work every day. Or where she can go to work with you if you so desire! The best home for her is one where she can live with another canine companion as she really loves doggie company and would even enjoy a playful doggie friend. She is still a pup at 1 year old, and wants to please her person, so she is very trainable! She has been learning her commands of sit, stay, come and more while in professional training! Cammie will do best with another doggie companion. Of course, she loves her people and she deserves a home where she can be given the love and affection she deserves throughout the day as well! We do not know how Cammie will do with cats, so we will not consider homes with cats for her at this time. This is a very adorable smaller sized girl who has the best heart and sweetest temperment. Cammie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. If you would like to have Cammie join your family and are committed to giving her continued leadership she needs, please be sure to complete an application and follow up with an email to indilabgirl@gmail.com

| Cali adopted!Meet Cali, a super adorable, goofy guy who makes his foster family laugh daily! If you are looking for a happy, wiggly, energetic boy to join your family, Cali is for you! Cali is a 3 year old chocolate boy who is very sweet and had wonderful temperament. We found Cali at a high-kill inland shelter. We are not sure how he got there and we just cannot imagine someone not coming to get this handsome dog. But when his owners never came to claim him, we were lucky enough to rescue him. Cali is a slightly shy boy who seems to be pretty inexperienced in life so that everything is new. He loves people and is great with the three labs he is fostered with. You can tell he has not seen much of the outside world so some things initially frighten him, but he warms up very quickly. He is learning to walk on a leash but he sometimes forgets and tries to sit down. We are sure he will be walking like a pro in no time. Cali will do best in a home where he will get the daily exercise young Labradors need. He will eventually love going to a dog park, dog beach or on hikes with his new family. He just needs to be introduced to a variety of experiences by his family as they help him feel safe. He is such a sweet easy going boy that he is opening up more and more each day. And he is fabulous with other dog making him so easy to socialize to new things. Cali sometimes will jump up out of happiness, but now knows he is not allowed to do this. When he remembers and stops himself, he will sit down an smile at you instead! Continuing to correct any people jumping is important. He wants to please so we think this will be resolved in almost no time. But because he's a youngster and may jump, he'll do best with children over age 6. Cali has learned how to use the doggie door and now enjoys coming inside and going outside for potty breaks whenever he wants. He has been sleeping through the night in his crate and is a good boy. Cali is neutered and up to date on his shots. He is a healthy boy with tons of potential to be the best family dog ever. We know Cali is ready for his forever family. Is it you? If you have been homechecked and approved and you feel this sweet fella is right for you, please email donna@indilabrescue.org
